So as Chung prophesied earthquakes, nuclear wars, the destruction of
Tehran (complete with dates) and the rest, that qualifies him firmly as
a false prophet. No doubt his St Chung the Baptist fantasy will continue
unabated.

stabilize," but I don't see "already mutated" or "was readily
transmitted from human-to-human," which was your claim, nor any
statement that the deceased caught the virus from another human being.
If you were knowledgeable about this topic, you would understand that
the mutation has already happened (ie "already mutated") and that they
would not have undertaken this major sequencing endeavor if there had
been absolutely no suspicion that the deceased had not caught the
virus from another human being.

Not in significant numbers because the frontlines are not yet in
hospitals.
ISTM epidemiologists and public health types might be in
an equally good, if not better, position to know the pace and range of
H5N1 in real time.

is critical with anticipated very rapid pace and global range as you

but nowhere does it support your interpretation.
This does mean that the virus has "already mutated."
It doesn't say any
human had infected another--your claim;
We know there already has been human-to-human transmission albeit
mercifully limited.
everything the abstract says is
future: "may", "could change", "with the ability to".
This is why the 20% likelihood estimate of occurrence with each
passing year is closer to reality than the 3% estimate.

united states, and also reaching close quartered communities aroud the
aorld with none or with less than par health systems unlike what we
have in England and the USA. I have not been following much on the
Avain Flu virus other than my partner and I speculating that it would
mutate and become a human to human pathogen eventually, but didnt know
that it would have been this soon.
