George,
It has been of some concern to me that your SPOG theory does not include a
vital factor.
When god made the universe in seven days, as we all know he did, he played a
few little jokes on those privilegded humans who were to be progressively
installed so comfortably at its focal point....namely little planet Earth.
Not only did he incorporate lots of very strange fossilized lifeforms into the
rocks and devise infamous characters like the confidence trickster Albert
Einstein but MOST INGENIOUSLY he also rendered the human concept of space the
RECIPROCAL of what it actually is.
The fact IS, X = 1/D, where X is the real distance and D is what WE see.
This has HUGE consequences. For one thing it explains why we don't fall off the
Earth. We are actually standing on the INSIDE of a slowly rotating hollow
spherical shell, looking INWARDS. ALL THE STARS ARE INSIDE. The central
coordinate is not the conventional zero but is actually 1/ZERO...OR
INFINITY,.....which is why we cannot see the other side.
It also explains the age old mystery as to how the universe can SEEMIINGLY
EXTEND FOREVER.
In reality, IT DOES NOT. The further we move away from Earth, the CLOSER WE
APPROACH THE CENTRE OF THE SPHERE. WE CANNOT GO BEYOND IT.
On the other hand, the centre of the Earth ....that we believe is zero...., is
indeed 1/INFINITY. WE ARE ACTUALLY DISTRIBUTED RIGHT AROUND THE ZERO SURFACE OF
3D SPACE. Nothing can lie outside the spherical shell on which we reside
because obviously, space cannot become negative.

Did he? If so I missed it. Hammond actually includes in his
"C.V." the Ph.D. program in which he did not earn the degree.
I'd call it laudable honesty, except that Hammond seems to
think that being a failed Ph.D. candidate is a point in his
favor.
Henri Wilson, on the other hand, calls himself "Dr." without
any credible support for the title.
And on the other other hand, Hammond did give us his "Nobel
Speech". Were we to measure and/or compare insane delusions
of grandeur, awarding one's self a Nobel Prize clearly
trumps granting one's self a doctorate.
