I can't help but pity people whose faith is so minimal that they need to have it blazoned on
their license plates. Worse are the people who desperately need to see it on someone else's
license plate.

I can see a lot of paint getting scraped off at nights.
'In God We rust'
would look good on a yank tank gas guzzler.

So? Take a look at any US bill (in the back) or coin (head
side). God is already in your pocket.
(Scary thought, that.)
If one has a $1 bill, one is further burdened with an all-seeing
eye on top of a pyramid. Fortunately, he doesn't see much
until one takes him out of his or her pocket.
Of course the Republicans want to take those tokens of
spending out of your pocket and into things such as
'faith-based initiatives'. The Dems have their own
issues mostly centered on throttling the worst abuses of
business (decreasing profitability), helping the poor,
and otherwise monkeying with the free enterprise system in
the name of good deeds, though at some point I'm wondering
about said system since it tends to jam up after awhile
with sweetheart deals, intimidation, and rather pointless
mega-acquisitions.
I don't really see much of an issue license-plate wise,
though there is the question of visibility; bills and
coins might jingle a bit but don't loudly scream "I AM A
WORSHIPPER OF THE ALMIGHTY!!!!!!1!1!!!!!1" to the world.
