From the article:
-----------------------------------
The Rev. D. James Kennedy wants more than souls. He's looking to reshape
American culture and politics: restore prayer to public schools, rewrite the
nation's laws to abolish abortion and ban gay marriage and elect leaders who
share his views.
... . .Some 30,000 people have attended the Creation Studies Institute, which is
trying to develop a creationism curriculum for schools.

He wants dictatorial powers.

I have only just heard the term Reconstructionist, so Googled to
http://www.tylwythteg.com/enemies/reconstruct2.html and was completely
gobsmacked by the description. Below is a small snippet of how the these
bible fuelled madmen envision the world.

The Biblically approved methods of execution include burning (at the stake
for example), stoning, hanging, and "the sword." Gary North, the
self-described economist of Reconstructionism, prefers stoning because,
among other things, stones are cheap, plentiful,

Also closely aligned in temperment with the Reconstructionist
movement is the Dominionist movement. Google for them, then check the
links to find how many members of Bush's kitchen cabinet are members.

It's really a matter of which Star Trek you like. If there is such a
thing a Satan then Rick Berman either is Satan or a very loyal disciple.

He's Judas in my book.

Judas is supposed to have felt remorse and then killed himself. Neither
of which Mr. Berman has done. Although I would gladly accept his
retirement into a monastic order that takes oaths against all forms of
communication.
