From the article:
-------------------------------------------------
The national debate over the placement of religous symbols in public
places will likely find its way to Polk County this week when a
controversial monument containing the Ten Commandments is unveiled in
a Bartow building.
A 7-foot granite monument etched with the Ten Commandments and other
historical documents is scheduled to be unveiled in the county
administration building's rotunda Thursday.
The "Foundation Rock" will be dedicated just two weeks after a federal

It's amazing that the taxpayers keep allowing their elected officials to
waste their tax money buying these monuments and then fighting in the
courts to display them. What a combination of ego & stupidity.

I suspect that it's nothing but a publicity stunt. Then again, so was
Moore's monument. This is just lame, copycat nonsense.

Do you think someone might mention that their savior is
claimed to have said something about praying for show
in public?

Actually, it should be possible to win an injunction against displaying
it before the rock is even installed.
