Object: In the News: Creationist sees clear proof in volcano
From the article:
-----------------------------------
The centerpiece is the Seven Wonders display on the walls, with photos and
text written by Anderson.
It shows in stages that the events after the 1980 eruption -- forests laid
bare, new lakes -- demonstrate that evolution is the wacky idea, not
creation.
St. Helens is proof positive, Anderson asserts, that the world was built
just as the Bible says. Six 24- hour days. Notice the speed of the
destruction, only hours to take down half a mountain. Look at the valleys
carved in the Toutle Canyon, plowed in an afternoon.

How does blowing up the mountain prove that God created the mountain?
(With enough stockpiled dynamite, I could have my own church.)

Yep, I remember driving past this place when we visited MSH -- just a
little bungalow by the side of the highway, with a tacky sign out
front. Maybe we missed a chance for some fun, but it was a long drive
up from Portland and we were there to see real science.

Almost like a haiku.

Mount Saint Helens proves

Or
Mount St Helens is rearranging a few thousand acres
outside that evolution takes kooks into consideration
and arranges their death
evolution is self correcting.
the bible is a book written

civilizations of goat herders
