In the News: District says teaching of 'intelligent design' will be delayed |
From the article:
-------------------------------------
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Attorneys for a school district that is requiring students to
learn about alternatives to the theory of evolution said Tuesday the concept of
"intelligent design" will not immediately be taught.
Lawyer Robert Muise, who is representing the Dover Area School District, told a
federal judge in Harrisburg that a temporary restraining order to stop the new
curriculum from being implemented is unnecessary.
"Intelligent design is not going to be taught," Muise, of the Thomas More Law
Center of Ann Arbor, Mich., said during a status conference. "Creationism is
not going to be taught. Religion is not going to be taught."

Then the restraining order will do no harm, will it?

I don't get it, unless they want to sneak ID in at a later date, which
is probably the point.

It's probably a case of the x-tian rightards fighting over which
denomination of ID/Creationism to force down the unsuspecting throats of
the student there.

Oh, goody! A religious war between ID/cretinist sects. I'd love to watch
it!
