be with me in paradise." But how could they have been together in paradise
that day if Jesus lay in the tomb 3 days?
You need to study the Bible more. You don't seem to know where Paradise
was. According to the Bible Paradise was in the depths of the earth
separated from hell by a great gulf in which no one could cross. Abraham
and Lazarus and the rich man were there. Remember when King Saul called up
the prophet Samuel through a witch? Samuel came up out of the earth. In
other words, out of Paradise.
Why was Paradise not UP in heaven? Because the devil still had access to
heaven. The prophet Ezekiel told the devil through the King of Tyre that
someday he would be cast out of heaven. Up until that time he still had
access to heaven. How could life after death be paradise with the devil
still accusing saints on earth? We can see from the book of Job that that
was what he was doing in heaven.
When Jesus died on the cross, the devil thought the time was perfect to
overthrow the angels in heaven and capture Heaven for himself. He thought
GOD was dead. But He was only dead physically. His soul and spirit were
still alive. Jesus descended to the debths of earth and preached to them
that were captive. When He arose He brought them with Him. According to the
Bible they walked the streets of Jerusalem. They assended to Heaven with
Him when He ascended.
Rev. 12 tells it in a very short narrative. When the devil got to heaven
trying his coup he was defeated by the Angel Michael. The devil and his
angels were thrown out of heaven. Just as Ezekiel said he would be. Now
Paradise could be moved to Heaven. The devil and his angels are now on
earth stalking children of God like a lion to see who he can devour. He
can't touch their ETERNAL salvation; but he can cause much anguish while
they walk this earth.When a born-again Christian sins, the devil is right
there to devour and make their lives move miserable on earth.
