Interesting broadband corporate corruption |
http://www.motherjones.com/news/dispatch/2005/05/municipal_broadband.html
I hadn't known much of the United States was still without access to
broadband information channels, or that there were corporations vieing
corruptly for consumer bandwith markets.

Translation: The rightard couldn't address the issues and had to surrender.
You lose again, rightard.

It's getting out of hand with corporate interests. There's nothing in
the constitution that says the government has to make sure that
companies keep their earnings steady. This is about what the people
want, not the big monopolies. It's a travesty when companies have
more rights than the citizens.

Telecomm is still conflicted over deregulation. The corruption comes
into play when companies are beholden to governments for their
profitability. Of course they play the political game. You'll notice
that the deregulated sectors of the industry are the *most* responsive
to their customers.
