When my local LAN would connect, another connection icon
would show up in my taskbar shortly after, "Internet now connected".
I thought I'm already connected.....
I though nothing of it.....
Until.....
I started having problems with programs and the OS.....
My downloads would ***** up. Installations too. Removal of
programs in the control panel not being able to be removed.
My Norton software constantly fucking up.....
I finally looked at the properties of my 'companion' connection.....
"Internet Gateway" in Control Panel....
*Connect to the Internet using
*Internet Connection
*"This connection allows you to connect to the internet through a
*shared connection."
Are you sharing with me Harlow....?
A "Default User" showed up in Documents and Settings. Like I
said.....GONE.....!
I can't delete the/your connection (I did once), but I can disable it.....
Like it is....disabled.....
When you're not here with me, everything runs nice and smooth.
Want to share a connection and play "Rise of the Triad" in Combat
mode? Mano a mano.....
All the War Sims, like "America's Army", all the "Battlefield" games
have no spilling of blood......
'Rise of the Triad' ROTT (Apogee 1995) has guts and blood on the
walls and floor. The enemy dies in a pool of it. When hit with a
bazooka round, blown totally apart........
When I get fried by a "fire jet" the view changes to my character,
on fire. The view spins 360 as it's burning. The fire goes out, the
spinning stops, and it shows a black skeleton that breaks apart as
it falls......klink...klink...klink....LOL......
When a door falls on a dead enemy, shot while walking under
the long, high door, one hears a "squishing" sound, and eyes,
limbs, and blood are splashed.....
My only gripe about the game is, the clouds don't move...
