Natalis Solis Invicti! This year's winter solstice is Saturn's Day
December 22nd, 2007 anno Domini 06:07:39 UT; thus begins the final
five-year countdown to Venus' Day December 21st, 2012 anno Domini.
Thus remind the Atheists constantly: the end of the world looms on
the horizon, and there's absolutely nothing they can do to stop it.
I bid thee Merry Christmas, Atheists! The end of the world is near...

Or your constant predictions that Presidential elections were going to

Face it, Danny, you're a complete loon.

Bwahahahahahahaha!

It's a line from Nostradamus:
Century 10, Quatrain 72
The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror.
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.
The original "Khan of Terror" was Genghis Khan.

the Dyson sphere at about Ceres' orbit.

I'm wondering if a Dyson sphere is really even possible. I can see some
problems with it (beyond just building something that huge.)
The gravitational pull of a hollow sphere on something inside of the
sphere is (I believe) 0 for any given point, since an object inside
might be closer to one side but there's more mass pulling to the other,
so there's no net pull in any given direction. So that also means the
object inside doesn't have any net pull on the sphere as well. So, by
that theory, the sun and the sphere should be able to exist without
needing any orbits, etc. to keep the sun centered within the sphere. So
far, so good. But.....The sun and solar system do move around the center
of the galaxy. A Dyson Sphere would make one HUGE solar sail and be
affected by the solar wind from the other stars and other such dust and
the sun would not. Over time, the sphere would be slowed and the sun
would run into it. So it would have to have some sore of rockets or such
to keep it moving at the same speed as the sun. I.e. it wouldn't be a
"make it and forget it" thing but would need constant adjustment.
Am I missing anything here with the physics?

Maybe, maybe not, but I would think anyone with the technology to make
one would have the technology to make sure the star stays in the center
of the thing.

Maybe, maybe not, but I would think anyone with the technology to make
one would have the technology to make sure the star stays in the center
of the thing.

The actual construction of such a thing would simply take a lot of time
and materials but I was looking at the LONG-term side of it (as if the
actual construction wasn't long enough<g>.) A sattelite could be build
and then basically forgotten about (assuming you build it strong enough
to withstand meteors, etc. and that it wasn't doing anything in an
active mode. Maybe it's just a huge reflector.) But the sphere would
require constant (even if very small) adjusting in it's position to keep
it functional. You wouldn't even want the sun coming close to one side
if you want the whole thing inhabitable.
It might be possible (my choice of words was wrong in that there's a lot
of things that are possible, given enough time and technology) but it's
still not a "build/make it and forget it" deal.

Well you have been predicting the demise of your religion for
a long time now. Are you not aware it has already begun? Your
cult has already broken up in many tiny pieces and it is collapsing
as people walk away bewiled at you internal squabbling and
outward hatred for the world.
So look around you, your Armageddon has already begun and
Christ insanity will soon begone. Do not worry, we will not miss you
when you have gone. Though we might have a big party
What a pity the Moslems and Hindu do not have the same
death wish. They will be much harder to rid the world of
but their time will surely come.

I think one can get off better with the Mel Gibson movie, "The
Passion of Christ." Homosexual masochism is not taken seriously enough
in the movies that you recommend. Passion plays have long been the
major jack off literature of true perverts, everywhere.
