Iran: The 'Holocaust' Threat to World Peace
Report; Posted on: 2006-04-29 00:33:22
*The Zionist myth threatens us all*
Analysis from N. Callahan and V-News correspondents:
THE IRANIAN President Mahmud Ahmadinejad's emphasis on the political=20
use of the "Holocaust" is powerfully effective against=20
Zionist-controlled "Western" pressure on Iran and Syria. While=20
posing as defenders of "tolerance" as they dictate to the Third=20
World, nearly all Western nations have criminalized independent=20
research or even questions about the supposed historical fact of the=20
systematic German extermination of six million Jews in World War II.=20
While the "Holocaust" story has been an especially powerful weapon=20
in the Zionist propaganda arsenal, it is so weak that courts and=20
jails are required to enforce the official line, forcing Zionists to=20
confirm what their detractors have maintained all along: that=20
Zionism is a hateful, ruthless and powerful ideology of oppression,=20
and a threat to the Western mind and, insofar as it is used to=20
justify America's slavish support for Israel, is a threat to world=20
peace itself.
The hypocrisy of Zionism and the open use of the "Holocaust" story=20
is now so naked that many Jews themselves have expressed concern=20
about what David Klinghoffer, writing in The Forward -- America's=20
leading Jewish-interest weekly -- calls "rhetorical overreach": "Our=20
enemies seek to torment us by denying history, even though there are=20
countless other ways they could express their hate. That is so in=20
part because of choices we make. For this, we can thank ourselves,=20
our leaders and other Jews who speak for us."
Another element of Zionist hypocrisy related to the morally superior=20
pose they have taken has to do with their attitude to "tolerance"=20
and "diversity" that they preach to the world. Inside Iran itself,=20
Zionist neo-con strategists have long been pushing, with some=20
success, a policy of stoking ethno-sectarian hatreds to undermine=20
Tehran. As covered here extensively at V-News, a series of=20
operations to divide and conquer Iran has paid off with violence=20
being stoked between ethnic, religious and demographic groups. Iran=20
is especially vulnerable to these kinds of divisions, thanks to=20
their historical legacy as an empire. Barely half of the population=20
is even Iranian (Persian), and many of the Persians are Zoroastrians=20
-- followers of the pre-Muslim solar religion whose members have=20
little love for the Shia regime. The Shia form of Islam is the=20
official state religion, seen as heretical by Sunni Muslims, who, at=20
about 8% of make up a significant fraction of the population. And=20
the average age in Iran is 25, with many young people resentful of=20
the aged ayatollahs who set social policy.
The neo-con "tolerance" and "diversity" mafia is purposely and=20
openly stoking hatred and division. Far from being a "conspiracy=20
theory," London's prestigious Sunday Times reported in February 12,=20
2006 that "Neoconservatives in Washington are urging...Bush to drop=20
diplomacy with Iran in favour of boosting internal dissent and=20
opposition forces within the Islamic regime. In an open breach with=20
White House policy, they argue the multilateral diplomacy pursued by=20
Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state, is encouraging the=20
Iranians to snub the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and=20
develop a nuclear bomb under cover of a peaceful energy programme."=20
As reported by V-News here (as well as here), neo-cons actually=20
helped to lay the groundwork for the present nuclear energy=20
standoff, which is a manufactured crisis meant to provoke Iran by=20
portraying their civilian energy program -- which dozens of nations=20
already have -- as a military program in pursuit of a nuclear=20
weapon. Neo-con elements high up in the Bush regime actually blocked=20
Iranian requests to negotiate with the United States about the=20
planned energy initiative. Other Iranian attempts at conciliation --=20
including the offer to allow US firms to help in the construction of=20
the supposedly military project -- have been met with silence.
Despite Zionist claims that the Bush regime is too slow in fostering=20
hatred and civil war inside Iran, the government openly admits to=20
having an office dedicated to the project, headed by no less than=20
Elizabeth Cheney, daughter of Vice President ***** Cheney, the man=20
who torpedoed Iran's 2003 offer of negotiations. As Deputy Assistant=20
Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Ms. Cheney oversees the=20
huge $85 million budget designed to undermine the=20
democratically-elected Iranian government.
Ahmadinejad was nearly assassinated at least twice by ethnic=20
separatists aided by "the West." One attempt occcured in December of=20
2005, shortly after Ahmadinejad made his initial comments=20
questioning the "Holocaust" in the eastern province of=20
Sistan-Baluchistan, where Sunni Muslim Baluchi tribesmen claimed the=20
attack as part of their ongoing low-intensity war against the=20
Persian-dominated Shia regime.
In January of 2006 a second attempt targeted Ahmadinejad in Ahvaz,=20
the capital of the Iranian province of Khuzestan on the opposite=20
side of the nation from Sistan-Baluchistan. A large Arab population=20
lives in Khuzestan and harbored hopes of independence since before=20
the Iran-Iraq war, when Saddam Hussein -- then an ally of the "West"=20
-- armed and trained them. In the investigation of the Ahvaz=20
assassination attempt -- which killed numerous innocent civilians --=20
Iranian national security officials found evidence of British=20
involvement. Britain, like the United States, has a long, sordid=20
history of collaboration with Islamists, having recruited=20
British-born Muslims to wage war on Serbia in the 1990s. So deep are=20
their connections that the investigation of the 7/7 London transport=20
attacks were hampered by "national security" secrecy. The 7/7=20
murders are seen by some observers, like 9/11, as "blowback"=20
consequences of short-sighted aid to the sworn enemies of "Western=20
infidels." The long association of the "West" with the likes of=20
al-Qaeda may still be continuing; Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa=20
Pour-Mohammadi found evidence showing that the fanatical Sunnis of=20
al-Qaeda were part of a CIA deniable operation in Iraq. "We have=20
specific intelligence that America has infiltrated al-Qaeda with=20
certain individuals and has even given [its cells] the orders for=20
terrorist strikes in order to strengthen their position," he said.=20
Few commentators have remarked on hypocritical "Western" pursuit of=20
Saddam's regional strategic aims, of course, nor questioned the use=20
of assassination of foreign leaders as a political tool.
Religion, as it is everywhere else in the Middle East, is a key=20
building block of Iranian self identity, and given the interlocking=20
elements of history and politics is especially volatile. Heretical=20
Shia Islam became the official state religion in large part to=20
distinguish the highly cultured Indo-European Persians from the=20
Arabs, the vast majority of whom are Sunnis and are regarded by=20
Persians as little better than barbarians. Thus, despite the=20
universalist gloss of Islam the Shia faith is closely linked to=20
Persian nationalism. Efforts by neo-con strategists to undermine=20
Iranian Shi'ism are especially effective. While the Sunni population=20
of Iran is only about 8%, this segment is mainly concentrated in=20
strategically vital peripheral areas like Baluchistan and Iranian=20
Kurdistan. Iran's Sunnis are also mainly non-Persian tribal people=20
with ethnic loyalties outside of Iran. These include some ethnic=20
Arabs, the traditional racial enemies of the Persians, and are=20
potential supporters of Sunni fundamentalists like al-Qaeda.
Ethnic Kurds also make up a large segment of the Sunni population.=20
Historically, the separatist-mided, stateless Kurds -- who have a=20
largely contiguous population spanning parts of Turkey, Iraq, Syria,=20
and Lebanon -- have been violently opposed to regional governments=20
and are open to calls for insurrection. "Western" hypocrisy runs=20
wild with the Kurdish question, with the CIA, MI6 and Israel's=20
Mossad having supported Kurdish peshmerga guerillas against Iran,=20
Syria and Saddam's Iraq, while helping the "pro-Western" Turks to=20
carry out a savage war of extermination against their own Kurds.=20
Until very recently the Kurdish language was essentially illegal in=20
Turkey, and in December, 2005, Joost Lagendijk, a politician from=20
The Netherlands, was "investigated" for making pro-Kurdish comments=20
while in Turkey to observe the trial of Orhan Pamuk, a novelist=20
charged with making remarks about the Ottoman Turkish genocide of=20
Christian Armenians who, along with the Pontic Greeks, were murdered=20
en masse in the First World War. (Ironically, the Turks used Kurdish=20
peshmerga to slaughter the Armenians.) So touchy is the Kurdish=20
issue for "our allies" that even the letters Q and W are illegal; as=20
reported here at V-News, twenty Kurds were fined for using the=20
letters, which are found in Kurdish, an Indo-European language, but=20
not in Turkish. (The Turkish alphabet uses a specialized form of the=20
Latin ABCs introduced by Atat=FCrk, the founder of the modern Turkish=20
state, in 1928).
Yet another racially alien ethnic group with a large Sunni segment=20
is the Turkmen, who make up a whopping 26% of the population of=20
Iran. Not only do the Sunni Turkmen have religious loyalties opposed=20
to the Shia regime, but as Turkic people the Turkmen, who see=20
themselves as the purest of the Turks, are vulnerable to the=20
Pan-Turkish ideology pushed by Ankara and supported by the United=20
States as a regional counterweight to Russia. Pan-Turkish thinking=20
seeks a political union of all the Turkic peoples of Central Asia, a=20
huge population that extends to Western China. The nation of=20
Turkmenistan sits on the border of Iran while a large population of=20
Iraqi Turkmen has given Turkey a mandate to threaten intervention on=20
behalf of their racial kinsmen.
Another religious element being exploited by the neo-cons is Sufism.=20
The Sufis (or Dervishes) are followers of an occult form of Islam=20
organized like secret societies. Sufism is generally frowned on by=20
Sunni and Shia leaders alike. Dervish sects often have millenarian=20
and political pretentions. In Yugoslavia, Sufi madrassas (schools)=20
were used as organizing centers by Bosnian Muslim separatists, while=20
today in the Caucasus and Turkic Central Asia Sufism has much=20
political and social influence.
In February 2006 over 1,000 Dervishes were arrested after=20
authorities closed a religious center and rioting broke out in Qom,=20
a "holy city" which, to Shias, has the same religious significance=20
as Rome does to Catholics. This rebellion in the epicenter of the=20
governing ideology of Iran had a great deal of propaganda value for=20
the neo-cons.
One ethnically Jewish neo-con loudmouth specializing in Sufism is=20
the creepy Stephen Schwartz, a bizarre ex-Marxist Sufi convert with=20
connections in turn to the squalid Front Page Magazine of Red Diaper=20
Baby and former Black Panther supporter David Horowitz. Schwartz,=20
now "Suleyman Ahmad," was, in an earlier incarnation, a "Council=20
Communist." Today he rank shigh in the faux-patriotic Jamestown=20
Foundation and is, like the equally weird Italian convert Massimo=20
Palazzi, AKA "Abdul Hadi" a pro-Zionist "Muslim." Schwartz has a=20
special soft spot for the savage regime of dictator Islam Karimov of=20
Uzbekistan, where the Naqshbandi Sufi sect has a great deal of=20
power. Karimov's use of Sufism to forge a national ideology that=20
manages to be both Islamist and "pro-Western" has been praised by=20
neo-cons. It should come as no surprise that the Turkic Uzbeks are a=20
linchpin of the Pan-Turkic dream. Like Palazzi, Schwartz uses his=20
"Muslim" pass the target the Saudi regime as a terror threat, but=20
has great things to say about the terrorist Chechens, gushing that=20
"Chechens who fought against Russian imperialism were overwhelmingly=20
members of two famous and combative Sufi orders, the Naqshbandis and=20
Qadiris. Bektashi Sufis were the chaplains for the Ottoman fighting=20
force known as the Janissaries (recruited as children from Christian=20
families)." The "recruited" White children were actually kidnapped=20
by the Ottoman Turks and became crack troops in repeated wars of=20
expansion against our European ancestors -- a war that continues=20
today and is called "immigration." It should come as no suprise that=20
Schwartz has been quoted in relation to spying against dissidents in=20
the US. Schwartz, the "former Marxist" who once called himself=20
"Comrade Sandalio" of the one-person "Fomento Obrero Revolucianario=20
of the United States" has been quoted as telling KRON-TV in 1987:=20
"When a left-wing group publishes, say a list of its state committee=20
and throws it in the garbage and somebody finds it in the garbage=20
and brings it to me, then I know the names of all those people and=20
sometimes there will be more information, too...Well, if any leftist=20
group has an open office where there are a lot of people around, you=20
know you can walk in and if there's something lying on a desk, you=20
don't have to filch it. You might just write down what's on it...see=20
a list of names or something like that." A close look at a person=20
like Schwartz is interesting when considering how the various=20
neo-con schemes against the people of Iran are pursued.
Students are yet another target of the neo-con "tolerance"-mongers=20
hoping to smash Iran. With an average age of only 25, the large=20
student population is ripe for subversion, which the regime has=20
attempted to slow down by banning "Western" music and satellite=20
television. However, a concerted campaign by "Western" intelligence=20
agencies paid off in March, 2006 with student mob violence and=20
numerous arrests at the Sharif Polytechnic University in the capital=20
of Tehran. An Iranian "student group" called the Office of=20
Consolidating Unity helped to co-ordinate the protests. The regime=20
denounced the Sharif protesters for their "deliberate, provocative=20
actions aimed at breaking the unity and solidarity of the peaple=20
with the government at a time that the regime faces growing=20
pressures from the enemies." Students involved in other=20
antigovernment actions have been arrested for contacts with "foreign=20
groups."
Despite the shenanigans, any attack on Iran will carry immense costs=20
for the United States -- even if, like Zionist draft-dodger and=20
former VP hopeful Joe Lieberman hints, such an assault will only be=20
aerial. The US has planned a "Divine Strake" quasi-nuclear test=20
slated for June in Nevada, yet again ratcheting up the crisis. As=20
CounterPunch.org's Brian Cloughley pointed out, "What are the=20
Iranians expected to do if they are blitzed by Divine=20
"deep-penetration" nuclear bombs, cruise missiles and sundry other=20
air strikes? Does anyone in their right mind think they will sit=20
back and say 'Oh, well, that's life' after the US has attacked their=20
territory and killed Iranian citizens? (Perhaps thousands of them;=20
maybe more. Who cares?--not the psychopaths in Washington and their=20
ideological brothers in Tel Aviv.)" Such an attack will unleash a=20
whirlwind of chaos in the "West," where millions of Muslims already=20
reside thanks to insane, Zionist-inspired immigration policies.=20
Muslims behind our lines have already proved capable of serious,=20
deadly violence from the mass murder of civilians in Madrid, New=20
York and London to the drawn-out street violence that rocked=20
Australia, France and many other places in Europe. Internationally,=20
Ahmadinejad is seen as something of a Third World hero, with=20
Venezuela's populist, anti-American leader Hugo Chavez -- head of=20
both another major oil producer and the growing Latin-American=20
anti-globalist movement -- embracing the Iranian President for his=20
courage in defying Washington. And a US ground attack -- which the=20
neo-cons will require if their subversion plans don't work out --=20
will throw American youth into a savage conflict that will cost us=20
all dearly and may well see the already-over-extended US military=20
bring back conscription. As V-News wrote in December (2005):
"With the glaring potential for an open war with the United States=20
and/or Israel, the Iranians are putting their nation quietly on a=20
war footing, the largest such mobilization since the end of the=20
Iran-Iraq war, when Saddam Hussein was an ally of the United States.=20
Ahmadinejad has declared all the areas bordering Iraq on full alert,=20
sent in 250,000 soldiers and transferred local authority directly to=20
the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the elite military backbone of the=20
regime, which now controls a number of leading security organizations.
"Along with the mobilization comes a purge of bureaucrats across the=20
nation and their replacement by "die-hard" loyalists, including a=20
new Minister of Defense. Military officers have also replaced=20
civilian functionaries at all levels.
"Ahmadinejad has earmarked $700 million for a special defense fund,=20
and has constructed a new high-tech command center deep inside Iran,=20
near one of the holiest shrines in Shiism. (The US is afraid to=20
attack such shrines for propaganda reasons, and any attack would=20
drive Shia adherents into a frenzy, cancelling out any short-term=20
military advantage for the Americans).
"Ahmadinejad has also prepared the Mobilization of the Dispossessed,=20
Iran's feared home guard, who would make any American advances=20
extremely costly.
"Iran has a much larger population than does Iraq, and has not been=20
weakened by years of sanctions as Iraq was before the US invasion.=20
Its people are animated by the Shia faith, an especially militant=20
brand of Islam which puts a premium on self-sacrifice. Iran also has=20
millions of Shia allies behind US lines in Iraq who are already=20
helping to pin down US forces there.
"Any US attack on Iran would bring untold chaos to the region and=20
the world. Oil exports would be disrupted, driving gas prices=20
through the roof. American youth would be thrown into a meatgrinder=20
against well-equipped and ideologically dedicated Iranian soldiers=20
and civilians. The contest could ignite a cross-regional war, with=20
Afghanistan and Iraq going up in flames, Shia militants in Lebanon=20
striking nuclear-armed Israel, and Syria being drawn into the war in=20
defense of their Iranian allies.
"Bush's saber-rattling is a threat to all people on the planet, and=20
all for no reason except to protect Israel" -- the only nation in=20
the region in possession of nuclear weapons.
"Holocaust" dogma is a threat not only to Western freedoms of=20
inquiry and speech, it is also -- inasmuch as it is used to drive a=20
mad foreign policy in defense of Israel -- a threat to world peace.

It's a bluff--they want all 3: IQ--IR--AFGHN.
More of a fantasy than a bluff--given that the Afghan
thing will never be 'over', either.
If we attack Iran we'll lose there and Iraq--our overall
record not 1 outta 3 but 1/2 outta 3 at most.
We will suffer the HOLO-COST OF REALPOLITIK;
RUSSIA WILL BE THE NEW superpower.
KHYNA ------------may already have intercoastal nukes.
Can u say BUSH LEGACY now being sold at walmart?
