Is Gerhard Schroeder an atheist |
I just ran across this article about god and the EU constitution. It says
that Gerhard Schroeder is an atheist / agnostic. Does anyone have a
reference of him saying publicly about his belief or lack of belief in god.
TIA

(I've never heard of this news organization and you will notice in the
headline that they put US when they clearly meant EU)

I think we ought always to entertain our opinions with some measure of
doubt. I shouldn't wish people dogmatically to believe any philosophy, not
even mine.

Unlike the USA, it is not considered good policy to advertise one's
faith in Euro politics. Separation of church and states is not an
empty line there. Unless one serves in a (semi)religious party.
