Object: Is God trying to Save the Repubs Sorry Asses?
I have not yet seen any of the usual fundie rantings on the issue of Sen
Johnson being suddenly...dare I say it?....'smitten' with an intracerebral
bleed. I am a little disappointed that the 'Katrina was God's punishment
for depravity' crowd isn't flooding the net with proclamations that
Johnson's ICH is a sure sign that God wants the Repubs to maintain control
of the Senate. The irony is that, as long as he isn't *dead*, he can
continue to hold his seat.
HOW PERFECT WOULD THAT BE??????
Imagine, the Repubs screaming that Sen Johnson be declared "Brain Dead",
or in a PVS, so they could vacate his seat to regain control of the
Senate. Terry Schiavo would be laughing her ***** off. Irony meters would
be exploding all over the place.
Seriously, I hope Sen Johnson recovers quickly and completely, and not
just because the country needs as many Dems as it can get right now.

I too hope Sen Johnson recovers quickly and completely. This country would be
better off if he then switched to the Republican Party.

His brain may well have been damaged sufficiently by that ICH to make him do
that.
OTOH, I hear that, nowadays sufferers can be recuperated quite quickly.

Nobody has said yet there's evidence of brain damage.
