Is Terri Schiavo going to rise from the dead? |
The interesting thing is that this is all happening as we enter the
High Holy days (Passover and Easter). It is looking more and more
like Terri Schiavo is a type of Passover sacrifice. Moreover her
husband, Michael, is becoming a type of Judas and Judge Geer like
Pontius Pilate.
Even more is that Howard Dean, the chief "Deathacrat" is presiding over
a cabal of the priesthood (academics, journalists and judges) calling
for the state to "kill her!, kill her!"
What is more interesting is that she may very well rise from the dead a
martyr. That she will become a symbol of your injustice, always in
your face when you defend some convicted murder or dictator. Or when
you get your rocks off on some school shooting in order to bash gun
owners. You may very well find that she will not go away. Like Paul
said of Jesus that had the Lord of this world (the Adversary) had
known what was to happen then he would have never crucified the Lord
of Glory.
Who knows, maybe the Pope will name her a martyr. But it is very clear
that neither her family will "get on with their lives" just because
she is dead. Nor do I believe that her husband will ever have peace.
BTW, if starvation is such a peaceful way to die, such a painless way
to die (as all the commentators have stated) then why don't we use it
for executions? Put someone on death row, starve them. And if the
appeals process can not work by the time they die, oh well....

As a Catholic you should know better. She committed a mortal sin (that of
gluttony part of her bulimia) and as a result suffered a heart attack and
afterwards a coma. Since she was in a coma and could not go to confession
for her sin, your god has condemned her to eternal damnation.

painless way to die. I would imagine that the morphine she's on is a
pretty good pain-killer, though.
