Isaac Newton's Secrets |
Did you know that according to a documentary on NOVA now playing on a public
education broadcast channel KQED Channel 9, and verified on the world wide
web, the scientist Sir Isaac Newton believed...
- God exists;
- the Bible is the truth;
- the Trinity is a false doctrine and heresy in the Christian church;
- the Trinity violates the first commandment in the Bible not to worship
false Gods since Trinitarians worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
- the book of Revelation in the Bible if interpreted correctly based on a
complete study of the Bible, reveals mathematically that the year 2060 is
the year of the great war of Armageddon prophesied in that book.
Although many of us who enjoyed higher educations might take basic history
for granted, and we know the importance and influence of Sir Isaac Newton on
modern science and physics, for the benefit of those NOT knowledgeable about
this scientist:
(QUOTE) "NEWTON, ISAAC (1642-1727) English physicist and mathematician who
was born into a poor farming family. Luckily for humanity, Newton was not a
good farmer, and was sent to Cambridge to study to become a preacher. At
Cambridge, Newton studied mathematics, being especially strongly influenced
by Euclid, although he was also influenced by Baconian and Cartesian
philosophies. Newton was forced to leave Cambridge when it was closed
because of the plague, and it was during this period that he made some of
his most significant discoveries. . ."(/QUOTE)
The article, worth reading in its entirety, goes on to chronicle Newton's
accomplishments: ". . .Newton formulated the classical theories of mechanics
and optics and invented calculus years before Leibniz. . .Newton
single-handedly contributed more to the development of science than any
other individual in history. He surpassed all the gains brought about by the
great scientific minds of antiquity, producing a scheme of the universe
which was more consistent, elegant, and intuitive than any proposed before.
Newton stated explicit principles of scientific methods which applied
universally to all branches of science. This was in sharp contradistinction
to the earlier methodologies of Aristotle and Aquinas, which had outlined
separate methods for different disciplines."
The truth that especially shocks atheists about Sir Isaac Newton is his
belief in God.
(QUOTE) "Although his methodology was strictly logical, Newton still
believed deeply in the necessity of a God. His theological views are
characterized by his belief that the beauty and regularity of the natural
world could only "proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent
and powerful Being." He felt that "the Supreme God exists necessarily, and
by the same necessity he exists always and everywhere." Newton believed that
God periodically intervened to keep the universe going on track. He
therefore denied the importance of Leibniz's vis viva as nothing more than
an interesting quantity which remained constant in elastic collisions and
therefore had no physical importance or meaning." (/QUOTE)
What about Newton's calculations based on the cryptic prophesies in the
Bible including Revelation about God's establishment of a kingdom on Earth?
(QUOTE)"Newton predicts end of world for 2060
"Sir Isaac Newton attained scientific immortality for formulating the law of
gravity, but he was also a theologian who wrote more than one million words
on biblical subjects and was influenced by Hebrew scripture, according to
academic articles on his work. He studied the Bible for more than 50 years,
trying to unravel what he believed were God's secret laws of the universe.
"Six years after his death, a book by the scientist about eschatology (the
end of the world, in this case as revealed by the Bible) was published, On
the Prophecies of Daniel and the Apocalypse of Saint John.
"However, most of his notes on the theme remained unknown, but in recent
years a document has been found in a Newton collection in the Jewish
National Library in Jerusalem that shows he set 2060 as the year the world
would expire. The Newton Project, and in particular the academic, Stephen
Snobelen, have been working on Newton's documents and have revealed that
Newton concluded that Armageddon - a last great battle, would occur in 2060,
with plagues, the return of Christ, and the end of time. Newton wrote that
this apocalypse would be followed by a 1,000-year reign by the saints on
Earth.
"Newton stated: 'This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall
be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fanciful men who are
frequently predicting the time of the end, and by doing so bring the sacred
prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail.'"(/QUOTE)
What about Newton's controversial view that the Trinity is a false doctrine
and violates the first commandment in the Bible?
(QUOTE) "In the 1690s Newton wrote a number of religious tracts dealing with
the literal interpretation of the Bible. Henry More's belief in the infinity
of the universe and rejection of Cartesian dualism may have influenced
Newton's religious ideas. A manuscript he sent to John Locke in which he
disputed the existence of the Trinity was never published. Later works - The
Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended (1728) and Observations Upon the
Prophecies of Daniel and the Apocalypse of St. John (1733) - were published
after his death." (/QUOTE)
According to the documentary "Newton's Dark Secrets" on NOVA (a PBS
broadcasting affiliate) that I watched from 8-9pm tonight on KQED channel 9
(Dish Network Satellite) Newton's shocking revelation to the Church was that
the Trinity doctrine constitutes heresy, indeed apostasy, and a form of
idolatry that violates God's first commandment.
Do research on the web about Sir Isaac Newton and you'll recognize him as a
scientist and enlightened Christian who discovered this universal TRUTH: God
and science are NOT exclusive. God created science and defined the very laws
of physics. The fabric of space and time is inseparable with God.
I welcome your comments and hope this leads to a productive
point/counterpoint discussion where we all share our opinions, support our
opinions with good references and at least consider each other's point of
view.
Take care.

Nice try, *****, but you obviously don't even begin to comprehend
what science is about. No, nothing shocks this atheist about what
Newton did/believed in whilst he wasn't at work. IT DOESN'T MAKE A
BLIND SCRAP OF DIFFERENCE to his findings and work around physics and
mathematics.
What in hell's name makes you think anybody is an atheist because they
think all scientists are? Do you ever think anything through before
saying it or are you so shameless that you don't care how stupid you
look?
Now, remind us which circle of hell liars like you are supposed to be

Really? I don't think any of those disciplines says anything whatsoever
about God.
Typical ignorant usenet twat. 'I don't think any of those disciplines says
anything whatsoever about God' -- meaning 'I'm just gonna ignore the fact
that for thousands of years, and right up to modern times, 'religion' set
itself and its fake 'insights' *right at the centre* of all the areas of
life and knowledge that these disciplines now cover without its help. You
stupid fucking boob: you try and lecture me about 'science' and
'religion' -- when you are *a disgrace to human knowledge*.
Except possibly geogeny, because I have no idea what that is.
Now there's a big fucking surprise.
Please do not confuse science with religion. It corrupts them both.
Listen, cretin: let someone who actually went to school point out to you
that 'religion' has retreated from the territory now occupied by all those
fields, and has gradually and painfully had to abandon the illusion that its
'teaching' allows one to interpret, predict or control the phenomena that
these fields now illuminate. And what 'religious' people are left with is a
'god' that *doesn't do anything* and a 'faith' that *retreats into solipsism
or denial* the moment any empirical contradiction of it is unearthed.
The 'god' they now have has been so reduced by science that basically it has
only two properties: (i) *it really, really, definitely exists, yes siree
Bob*; and (ii) *claims for its existence can't be tested*. If anything
happens that seems to be about to undermine this pathetic rump of primitive
and infantile superstition, then *they move the goalposts again*.
Apart from that, they've got *nothing left*. And neither have you.
Get over it.

Aristotle

false Gods since Trinitarians worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
- the book of Revelation in the Bible if interpreted correctly based on a
complete study of the Bible, reveals mathematically that the year 2060 is
the year of the great war of Armageddon prophesied in that book.
Sir Issac Newton was a nut. Brilliant in physics, but still a nut.

Did you know that according to a documentary on NOVA now playing on a
public
education broadcast channel KQED Channel 9, and verified on the world
wide
web, the scientist Sir Isaac Newton believed...
- God exists;
- the Bible is the truth;
- the Trinity is a false doctrine and heresy in the Christian church;
- the Trinity violates the first commandment in the Bible not to worship
false Gods since Trinitarians worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
- the book of Revelation in the Bible if interpreted correctly based on a

Feeble attempt at "argument from authority", sir. I've seen much better

I welcome your comments and hope this leads to a productive
point/counterpoint discussion where we all share our opinions, support our
opinions with good references and at least consider each other's point of
view.
Take care.
