So, it came to pass that the nation of Israel had rejected their Messiah.
But some individuals even in the ruling class had seen the light.
Those individuals were called"some believers from the party of the pharisees".
For them, Jesus was a national Messiah and not only the Messiah of the apostles.
The pharisees who believed were all opposed to Paul and his teaching against
the Law of Moses.
For Paul, the gentiles were exempt of circumcision and the burden of the
Mosaic Law. For the pharisees, the gentiles should circumcise and be taught
to live by Moses Law.However, Paul and the Pharisees had one thing in common:
JESUS WAS THE MESSIAH FORETOLD BY MOSES IN DEUTERONOMY 15:18.
At The First Council at Jerusalem...
