Wake up! Almost every book in the classroom is atheistic!
Of course other religious literature should also be allowed. How can
children get a rounded education with the sort of censorship you're
advocating? I am outraged at the prohibition of the Gideon's
distributing the Bible.
This country was FOUNDED on CHRISTIAN religious freedom. I am tired of
these school children and their outspoken parents - 1 of the entire
population of the United States, telling this country what to do!
We have enjoyed freedoms in the US that no one else in the world has

I do not happen to live in the united states but as far as I know it's
constitution is perfectly secular. That is it does not deal with any
specific religion. People in the USA - as far as I know - are free to
have or not have any religion they want.
Of course you are right in so far, that the colonists that founded the
USA were quite unfamiliar with any but Christian religions.
Nevertheless the intellectuals among them most have known there were
muslims and Hindus and native americans (who also were not
Christians). They didn't however exclude any unfamilar religion from
there constitution, which means any denomination is equal to the law
however great or small it's number of followers, and no religious view
should be preferred.
Of course religion involving human sacrifice will be disfavored but
plainly for secular reasons. Murder is also outlawed for none-
religious purposes.
But I can comfort you.
The same laws that forbid prosilting at public schools,
would also forbid the spread of "the God delusion" at public schools.

As an atheist I encourage bible reading. If one reads the bible on
their own they will likely conclude that it is what it is, a
conglomeration of myths and fairy tales.
Read on it's on merit its circular reasoning and fanciful world view
is fairly evident.
If read by one with a rudimentary understanding of ancient history its
many plagiarisms retelling ancient stories demonstrate that it is a
work of men, not inspired by a deity.
If read by one with a basic understanding of logic it is evident after
two pages that it is a mass of contradictions.
If read by one with a basic understanding of the solar system it is
evident on the first page that it is scientifically inaccurate.
To believe the Bible is the inspired word of God one must ignore what
is written on its pages. Most who do believe simply take someone
else's word about what that Bible says.

Actually, the Declaration of Independence is the only document to mention

No. It was founded on property... land. People came here
from Europe because it was the only way they could ever
get land, the only way they could ever stop working for
the elites and work for themselves.
Heck, there were few if any places in Europe where the
average man was even allowed to hunt... because all
the land was owned by the elites, and hunting was
stealing "their" animals... it was called "poaching," killing
an animal belonging to some lord.
Anyhow, yeah, that whole fantasy about religious
"Pilgrams" coming here to escape religious
persecution is just that -- a fantasy. The Mayflower
was filled with land-seeking adventurers, people
willing to risk all for a chance at joining the landed
elite, and not religious seperatists or puritans.
The Puritans arrived a little later. Far from being
a persecuted minority, back in England they
overthrew the king, chopped his head off then
slaughtered millions in Scotland and Ireland over
(you guessed it) religion.
Don't believe me? Google the english civil war
and/or Cromwell.

In addition to reading the Bible, reading your posts is all one needs
to be convinced that Christianity is of no value.

You're doing your best to discredit your fellow believers again, I see.
You're a shining example of what *not* to be, lowlife. Do us all a favor
and leave the computers at the library alone, go back to your trailer, turn
on the TV and drown yourself in a thrilling episode of The View.
