Object: It is absolutely stunning...............
...............in that the average atheist lacks minimal grasp of the beliefs of
others of the existence of Almighty God, and of his becoming man in the person
of Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for the redemption of man from his sins and
to **restore** salvation to the souls of mankind.
The average atheist is rock bottom is that very basic understanding and yet runs
around rejecting the existence of almighty God. On what basis?
Atheists lack even the basic rudiments of knowledge of God, yet carry on to
untold lengths with total lack of supportive evidence for his beliefs.
Stunning.

You have the same evidence I have.

Which is none.
You elect to reject it.
One can't reject nothing.

You have the same evidence I have.

God promises to

have a talk with you about that.

God is a figment of your imagination.
But it will be too late to change your mind.
I was wondering when you would get around to the only basis of your
belief. Fear.

Truthfully, God will have a little talk with you at the moment you die about
what you did while in the flesh.

You are a lier, Duke.
If you had faith as little as mutard seed, you will be able to move
mountains, resurrect dead people, made the blind see, the cure the
sick, and chase out demons from people. So, as I do not know or watch

I was right - you don't understand.

It's very simple -- you limit yourself to only one book, and then you
further limit yourself to only certain passages within that book. You
don't want to read or think about the annoying, silly, unbelievable
sections. Yet you want to pretend the whole book is divine, inspired,
unified, flawless.

So, what's your favorite part?
Me, I'm somewhat partial to the miracle of the demons cast into
the pigs. I figure that's the part where Satan took control of
Jesus for a bit. I mean, there's no way the love god would torture
and drown a bit of innocent pigs, is there? Nah. Gotta be
Satan. After all, Satan's the expert on demons, ain't he? It's
only natural that Jesus would gladly step aside to let the real
expert handle things.
But I'd have to say that the best is when--now get this, it's
great!--God, in order to proclaim the end of pain and death for
innocent people, he--really, it's quite unbelievable--has an
innocent person _tortured_ and then _murdered_! It's a gas,
really. Exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from Satan. Cause,
without the whole twisted redemption bit, it's just the story of a
dead guy nailed to a dead tree, and the God who killed them
both. Put *Satan* in there, and it all makes perfect sense!
Cheers,
b&

Stunning.

As usual Earl either doesn't think or doesn't know.
We are fully aware of " the beliefs of others ..."
We also note that most don't believe the basic Christian view and that among
Christians anything beyond this basic view is not well agreed on.
We don't share any of those beliefs, just as most share few of the beliefs.
Our basis is the evidence presented by history and all science.
WRT christianity, many of us have read the book, read the rules and read the
promises.
Then we've watched the Christians.

The average atheist is a person who experienced something traumatic in

Hope For A Conversion:
Reason, Friend, is clearly a gift of your genetics and environment. The
beginnings of Reason can be found in thousands of books written by man,

I hope, Friend, for the gift of Reason and the conversion of someone

it is, not as others imagine it and try to convince us through fear and
intimidation.
He who sees Reason, sees the World. Take away our blindness, that we may

It could be a jilted romance,

the death of a loved one,

None especially close, yet.

or having never been loved.

Oh, no problem there. Plenty of love.

If there evidence of such, we might question my pride. But, sadly
for you, there's proof that there's no almighty power, and
certainly no friendly power watching over us.

Prayer For A Conversion:

Faith, Lord, is clearly a gift of God.

BAAWA! BWAHAHAHA!
A person with faith is one who makes conclusions about that which
he has concluded is inconclusive, has knowledge about that which
she knows is unknowable. Faith is not ``willful ignorance,'' but
rather ``willful insanity'' or ``willful idiocy.'' Faith is a
thing deserving not praise and respect, but pity and scorn.

I pray in the name of Christ Jesus and through the intercession
of Mary Immaculate. Amen.

Why is it that you Christians always leave out the most important
personages of your pantheon? Won't the Father be offended that you
asked for the help of the Mother but not him? Won't the Holy
Spirit, the creator, and Satan, the destroyer, *both* be offended
by your omission?
And that Satan...*he*'s the one you should be looking out
for. Anybody who can cast a bunch of demons from a man into a herd
of pigs and then drown the lot is somebody to look out for, I tell
ya.
Cheers,

The average athiest is someone who has come through the brainwashing (er
excuse me, I mean teaching) she/he received as a child, and has seen through
the horseshit.
They have looked thoroughly at the bible, and have seen the many
inconsistencies in it, and say if this is the "word of god", then it is one
fucked up god.
If you want to worship someone that asks people to MURDER their only child
like the ":loving, caring" christian god does you go right ahead. I don't
worship people that ask others to kill their only child.

That's because it's hogwash.

The average atheist is rock bottom is that very basic understanding and yet runs
around rejecting the existence of almighty God. On what basis?

On the basis that you ilk fail to provide evidence for this 'god'.

Atheists lack even the basic rudiments of knowledge of God, yet carry on to
untold lengths with total lack of supportive evidence for his beliefs.

Why would you expect someone to have knowledge of something you
can't even provide evidence for?

Why?

My dictionary says hogwash is: n. 1 refuse fed to hogs; swill; hence, 2.
empty talk, writing, etc.
swill n. 1. garbage, table scraps, etc mixed wtih water and fed to animals,
especially pigs.
