It's Time to Investigate Fake "Hate Crimes" Reports |

Negligible "hate crimes" numbers notwithstanding, liberal lawmakers
remain poised to push the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention
Act (H.R. 1592) through Congress due to intense political pressure
from the powerful homosexual lobby.
But evidence continues to mount indicating that an alarming percentage
of the already small number of "hate crimes" allegedly motivated by
sexual preference may have been fabricated by homosexual activists in
an attempt to create a political atmosphere ripe for passage of
federal "hate crimes" legislation.
According to FBI statistics, there were nearly 1.4 million violent
crimes in 2005. Of those, little more than 1,000 were reported as
"hate crimes" directed against homosexuals or cross dressers. A full
one-third of that 1,000 were reports of "intimidation" or "hateful"
words as opposed to violent acts.
The recent high profile death of 72-year-old "gay"-identified Andrew
Anthos in Detroit has been widely exploited by the homosexual lobby to
push for federal "hate crimes" legislation. Homosexual activists
assert that in February an unidentified African-American male called
Anthos a "*****" and struck him in the back of the head with a metal
pipe, ultimately resulting in his death. Senator Carl Levin (D-
Michigan) wasted no time in citing the alleged "hate crime" on the
floor of Congress as Exhibit A to push for passage of a "gay"-friendly
federal "hate crimes" law.
However, there's one small problem. Investigators in Wayne County,
Michigan, have determined that the crime - the very same "hate crime"
which was used to justify introduction of H.R. 1592 - never even
happened. They have concluded that Anthos' death was in fact the
result of an accidental fall brought on by severe arthritis in his
neck.
Anthos, who reports indicate had been previously diagnosed with mental
illness, originally told police that he did not know how he was
injured. A week later he changed his story to suggest that he had been
the victim of a "hate crime."
To make this poor man their "hate crimes" poster boy and exploit his
unfortunate accident by pinning a "hate crime" on some phantom "black
man" for political gain is both racist and reprehensible.
Those homosexual activists who have helped to promulgate this
mythological "hate crime" should fess up about what they knew and when
they knew it. However, it must also be recognized that the Anthos case
is really just one small piece in a clearly emerging "hate crimes"
puzzle that paints a disturbing picture of political deception.
In another high profile incident last January, "gay"-identified Boise
State University (BSU) student Alex McGillis, 20, alleged he was
attacked in much the same manner, telling police that an unidentified
man beat him from behind with an object while shouting anti-"gay"
epithets.
According to a report in The Arbiter, BSU's newspaper, "McGillis later
admitted to authorities he used a stick and his own fists to self-
inflict his injuries. The falsified attack quickly prompted student
and administrative organizations around Boise State to sponsor the 'No
Oppression Tolerated, Not on Our Campus,' rally and a candlelight
vigil on the Quad."
Increasing numbers of fraudulent and high-profile "hate crime" reports
such as these help homosexual activists create the illusion of
epidemic hatred and violence. It's a strange paradox. With victim
status comes sympathy. And with sympathy comes power and money. The
rising number of false "hate crime" reports only serves to further
weaken an already flimsy "hate crimes" foundation. It's disturbing to
wonder how many of these false reports have gone unchallenged.
And that raises another question. If H.R. 1592 requires heightened
penalties for offenders if a victim is either a homosexual or a cross
dresser, then why doesn't it require heightened penalties for those
who fraudulently report "hate crimes" which never occurred or for
radical homosexual activists who encourage such reports?
The weight of the evidence is clear. Fraudulent "hate crimes" reports
are very real and very wrong. Homosexual activists have publicized
these reports to garner support for federal "hate crimes" legislation.
Since passage of such legislation would grant the federal government
sweeping and entirely subjective authority to regulate the thoughts,
words and actions of all Americans, we should call for a federal
investigation to determine to what degree fraudulent "hate crimes"
reports have contributed to support of H.R. 1592 and to what extent
the homosexual lobby has leveraged such reports through either act or
omission as a political means to a political end.

Oh, its worse than a congnitive dissonance. It's a double bind for
them. The Religious Reich wants to claim the fraction of the population
that is gay is tiny, so they can pretend that more gays are HIV+ than
actually are. They divide the number HIV cases in which a male was
infected by a male partner, by an underestimated number of gays, in
an attempt to claim that all gays are infected. But to make hate
crimes seem negligible, they have to overestimate the number of gays.
They can't have it both ways, so one way to argue with these people is
to talk about both at once, so they have to use the same denominator
in both cases.

Then are you willing to repeal the existing Hate Crimes legislation

You must admit that the majority of the "bad" associated with
Christians for the last decade or so has been the homosexual rape of
tens of thousands of innocent children by the priest of the Catholic
church. I'm sure that there are a number of people in the several news
