A jury convicted Richard Vaden, 59, of molesting two of his daughters
during their teenage years between 1998 and 2002. The jury found Vaden
not guilty on a third count of fondling.
Judge Lee Howard sentenced Vaden to 10 years in the Mississippi
Department of Corrections for each count, but the sentences will run
concurrently.
Vaden is a father of nine children, and was a minister at Grace
Baptist Church in Clay County, a congregation of about 50 people, and
owner of Triangle Cabinetry in West Point before his conviction.
