Jack Owen Stroup, a 20-year-old graduate of Wickenburg High School,
last week received a prison sentence of 10.5 years for his role in the
March 2004 murder of then 21-year-old Bret D. Smalling.
With family members and his PASTOR looking on, Stroup apologized to
the family of the victim by admitting that he made a reckless and
foolish decision.
