Williams was first arrested in 1993 for possession of cocaine with
intent to distribute. At that time, he was sentenced to 162 months in
a federal prison. He was in the process of serving five years of
probation. He was then arrested in August 2005 in Franklin County for
possessing an oversized redfish as well as possession of cocaine and
marijuana. Williams failed to notify his probation officer of the
arrest and violated the terms of his supervised release.
