Jeffrey Paquin, 49, of 40 Baker St., Hudson, admitted Friday to
repeatedly molesting a 5-year-old relative and another slightly older
girl in the basement of his former home on Arlington Street in Nashua.
Paquin had been free on bail while facing trial, but he left the
courtroom in handcuffs. He apologized to both girls and their families
before he was sentenced, his voice clenched with emotion.
"I know and understand the deep hurt I have brought into your life,"
Paquin said. "I PRAY for your healing, and I ask GOD’s blessing on
your life always."
Paquin, a lifelong Nashua resident, was an active member of the
TABERNACLE BAPTIST CHURCH in Litchfield. His lawyer argued he had been
"a caring, law-abiding citizen" until "something snapped," and he
began to molest first the older girl, then the younger one."
I have repented before God and will live each and every day in
obedience to his word and the laws of our country," Paquin added.
