According to one tradition, this creator god engendered the waterlily.
It was from this waterlily that all the other deities were generated from.
A bit confusing, but then it's mythology. It does not have to make sense.

And rather than be constructive by adding something interesting to the
message, you prefer to whine. Let me make this easy for you, the lady is
doing me a personal favor. If you have a problem with that, kill file
the series. If you know how. If you don't know how, ask politely and
somebody in the group will probably be able to tell you how to do it.
If you have a problem with that option, maybe warlord Steve will
commiserate with you. Then again, he might just tell you to set your kill
file and quit complaining. If none of these options are acceptable to
you, you can always leave the newsgroup. I've been here since about 95
or 96, so I see no reason for me to leave just to make you happy.
walksalone, who's always been fascinated by mythology. But sees no
reason to write a 20 page document for every god that ever existed.
Religions are conclusions for which the facts of nature supply no major
premises.

If you don't like Asherah's mythology messages,
don't read them. Many of us find them fascinating.
And, she writes in the style of a story teller which
is very enjoyable.

If you don't like Asherah's mythology messages,
Oh dear, they are not hers. They are mine. She is sitting in for me
during a period of time in which I'm very busy and would forget to post
them. She does this in spite of taking care yahu who is confined to a
wheelchair and has been for at least 15 years. She was a student of mine
way back when we held informal classes on mythology. A killer grin, a
sharp mind, and the ability to stand her ground when necessary. Good
thing for me, that she got married off.

It's nice to know that the little JAGOTD series is informative to those
who are still in the learning stages of life. And remember, it is easier
to complain than actually do something like set a kill file.

problems. I'd feel sorry for some of them, if
