to, Mictlancihuatl. Yes that Mictlancihuatl. She helps him supervise the
nine underworlds [hereafter called Micatin], & the rivers that flow through
them. This is the final no option resting place for everyone except
Warriors slain in battle, & women who died in childbirth.
It was she that, in the primeval waters of the universe, with the help of
another goddess who is to bashful to be named here, formed the monster
Cipactli. Most people do not realise the necessity of this. It is from
the body of Cipactli that the earth was formed. Don't believe it, ask her.
Back to Mitcin, it is here that souls that win no merit go upon their
departure from life. Here they lead a rather drab & boring life, like that
found in the mideastern mythologies prior to the rise of monotheism in
Persia & then Judea. No punishment for eternity, the gods do not waste.
I suppose that your being reborn from Mitcin could be considered a
punishment, for eventually that is what happened to them.
