Of extreme importance, because he is regarded not only as a great singer,
but musician. This is due to the fact that almost all Mayan poetry was
sung or chanted.
He preferred the appearance of a hummingbird whenever he wanted to show up
for a sing fest.
Some authorities consider him to be an avatar of the sun god, but I'm not
certain that concept was known among the Maya.
