Global warming is a NATURAL cycle in much the same way the ICE AGE was a
natural cycle. Google "Global warming natural cycle".

was a natural cycle. Google "Global warming natural cycle".

Man is part of nature. Man causes global warming. Global warming is
natural. Man ceases to be part of nature. Global warming solved.
See how easy that is?

Death is also natural, so why should anyone ever be blamed for killing
people?

Ya know, Jason, when you decide to act stupid, you really don't mess
around, you go all-out to demonstrate a complete failure to grasp even the
most limited sense of having a clue about anything.
Does the earth's mean temperature fluctuate over time, with periods of
warmer climes and periods of cooler? Undoubtedly it does.
Does this mean that we cannot affect the scope or scale of such change?
Oh, wait, no, it doesn't.
Have we initiated a significant or even disastrous change in climate?
Maybe we have, maybe we haven't. The fact that the climate changes on its
own, however, says absolutely nothing one way or the other about that, now
does it?

I heard today that burning of forests (a human activity) puts a
significant percentage of carbon into the atmosphere. That, and the
degradation of environment discounting carbon release, would make a
major difference in global warming if we stopped doing it.

Al,
I know this is true cause I saw it on TV. Energy from the Sun causes
global warming. Cosmic rays or winds cause global warming. Not much
we can do about that.
Cows who pass gas are blamed for global warming (seems like lions and
tigers and bears and monkeys should be blamed, too). Beer drinkers
should be blamed, especially if they eat beans when they drink. Also,
back yard barbeques should be blamed because they produce smoke and
people drink beer. Tail gate parties, NASCAR, football, baseball and
all sporting events should be banned. Beer should be banned from the
planet. Beer drinkers should be executed to cut down on global
warming. Liquor and wine drinkers should be forced to support the
beer drinker orphans.
The secular religion called science like any other religion can not be
used as a source for truth about what's really going on. It has to
come up with dramatic scenarios for the sake of money. For example,
on either the History or Discovery channel the doom and gloom
prophets that represent science foretell the flooding of New York City
and scenes are shown of the city flooding in the advertisments. Seems
to me people would be smart enough to move from New York City if the
city was to be submerged. Also, their prophecies speak of a long time
in the future event but they show current day New York City being
flooded. Why do the meteors have to fall on New York City? Why do
the earthquakes have to level New York City? Why do all of the
disasters have to be inflicted on New York City? Is it their lousy
salsa sauce? Me thinks scientists want money and are trying to scare
New York City into forking over some money so that they can continue
to practice their religion.

Carnivores produce relatively little intestinal gas.

People who talk about banning beer should be executed. :)

Neither of which has anything to do with science.

Also, their prophecies speak of a long time

flooded. Why do the meteors have to fall on New York City?

What's to prevent them.

Why do the earthquakes have to level New York City?

The buildings in NYC weren't constructed to be earthquake-proof - if
we start getting quakes larger than the ones in the past (yes, there
have been earthquakes in the NYC area), a lot of buildings will come
crashing down. A lot of gas mains and water mains will rupture. A
lot of the infrastructure will become not only useless, but deadly.

Why do all of the disasters have to be inflicted on New York City?

Why not? It makes for good fiction? Surely you don't think that a
movie is actually science?

Me thinks scientists want money and are trying to scare
New York City into forking over some money so that they can continue
to practice their religion.

Me thinks you can't tell the difference between entertainment and
science, just like most people.

No surprise.
Dobson's one of a too-long list of Evangelicals who have left the
evangelical commission of Jesus behind in favor of their own greed for
money and power. For Dobson and his "constituants", Christianity is
now merely a political platform.
