Whatever they do, I hope they don't resort to empirialistic tendencies
like what US/UK have done in Middle East for 50 years:
- An 1953 when Iranians decided to nationalize their oil industry and
take back their oil wealth from the colonialists, US/UK conspired to
topple Iran's democratic government and installed the despotic
dictator Shah of Iran as puppet government so western oil interest can
continue to pump oil out.
- After Iran's Islamic revolution that kicked out the Shah, US propped
up the despotic dictator Saddam to kill Iranians and destablize the
region.
- After Unical failed to negotiate a gas pipeline in Afganistan, in
order to prevent the Soviets from entering Afganistan to build the
pipeline, billions were given to the Mujahadiem, Osama Bin Ladin, then
"freedom fighters" to kill the Soviets. This eventually led to the
country plundering into civil war and becomming a terrorist breeding
ground, and the CIA perdicted "blow-back".
- All the while GHW Bush associates (Santa Fe Drilling Co.) were
helping the despotic dictator of Kuwait slant drilling into Iraq,
stealing Iraqi oil and selling it to US at below-OPEC price. This
conflict led to GHW Bush sending then embassador April Glasby to
Saddam, instigating the first Gulf War.
- The second Gulf war need not be explain, as we all know the WMD,
nuclear threat, 9/11 connection, are all false pretext to lauch a war
of aggression against Iraq, without UN sanction.

Why not respond to the issue ( J & C's battle for Oil) rather than
trying to find another way to slam the US?

Russia is strictly a German domain. Japan and especially China will always
come after German interests.
