I don't know if this policy is still in effect, but in 2003 Gastrich
instituted this on his website forums:
"All non-Christians will be allowed a maximum of 500 posts or one year
of membership on the board. If after 500 posts or 1 year they have not
converted to Christianity, they are banned forever."
Gastrich's rationale behind the policy: "The JCSM Forum is not
designed for Christians to become unequally yoked with the world. It
wasn't designed for believers to form intimate, unscriptural
relationships with unbelievers . . . giving non-Christians 500 posts
or 1 year of membership is ample time for them to repent and believe."
That's all you really need to know about the guy. He claims to be
interested in Truth, but all he gives a fig about is being RIGHT.
(And, one might cynically say based on his web presence, making
money.)

Then again, jerks like that, are the same ones that wonder how my wife
and I stayed have married better then 20 years, with no sign of letting up.
She's Quaker. I'm clearly an "in your face" atheist. Can't get much
more unequally yoked then that.
Of course she also sat in my office with me, and listened to Jason's
interview with James Randi. Between gasping for breath, (yes, she was
laughing that hard), I believe the question was:
"Who is this moron?"
She is also a very big fan of Penn & Tellers "*****!", and can't wait
for the third season to start up.

remember it.

I signed up at Well Of Hope, and stayed there for approximately 50 posts.
The smarmy illogic there drove me nuts, and the priestly attitude of the
webmaster (who cancelled posts that contained material that no Christian
should dare think about) was contradictory to a fairly run discussion
forum. How any atheist could spend an entire year interacting in such a
forum is beyond my comprehension.
