Actually, He did. Tacitus wrote about Him from official
Roman records of the period. The Sanhedrin went on
a tear about the "Christ cult" after his death, forcing
adherents to flee Judea and spread out among the
Romanized world. The Romans didn't like them any
more than the officials in Jerusalem but they were a
little more tolerant initially.

Tacitus
born AD 56
died c. 120
Tacitus did not yet exist during the claimed life of Jesus.
Therefore he could not have had ANY first hand knowledge of
Jesus.

Therefore he could not have had ANY first hand knowledge of
Jesus.

And he didn't "write about him from official Roman records of the
period". He wrote about Christians and what they believed, mentioning
someone Christians translate as Christ not Jesus. Other translations
leave it as Chrestus which was common name for slaves.
And he never mentions Jesus. Just Christians as "followers of Chrestus

The Jews consider Jesus only a prophet. None deny his existence.

You are correct for the most part. All the few places where Jesus is
mentioned in contemporary text were inserted by Christian Scribes much
latter to make up for this lack of his existence in those records. A person
like Jesus, probably many existed, but they were just 1st Century Jews
teaching Judaism and were crucified like thousands of others for rising up
against Roman rule. Jesus was a little known nobody, mostly myth that Paul
shaped and molded to take on the road for his own dog and pony show.

Khubla

And your evidence that this "Paul" ever existed, is what, exactly?
It won't do, to substitute one fictional character with another and
heave a sigh of relief, as though you'd actually contributed anything
of substance.

Schollars note that a group of people wrote or edited the mythologies
attributed to "Paul/Saul." _Someone_ or a small number of people who
are called "Paul/Saul" probably lived at the time of Yeshua, one of
the many virgin-birthed messiahs at the time that Paul/Saul was part of.
It's funny. Christians believe that Paul/Saul was the rock, or the
foundation upon which Christianity stands. And in fact "Paul" is a pun
literally meaning rocks upon which a house is built.
It's also ironic. According to the mythologies, Paul/Saul was ordered
to destroy the upstart seditious messiah cult -- and was probably also
working on destroying or agitating within several others at the time.
Paul/Saul was brought up in the Mithratic tradition. He _successfully_
destroyed Christianity. A bastardized Mithras is what Christians now
unknowingly worship.

"Peter" is the "rock," derived from the Greek "petro." Of course Jesus
never made the pun: it was made by one of Jesus's (Hellinized)
creators.

I had heard that about Peter, but not "Paul".
What language would that be a pun in?

In other words, you agree with me that there is no real evidence that
he ever existed.
I wonder where Khubla is hiding this evidence?
