Jesus and God separate existence?
Do you expect Jesus and his father to exist as separate entities in
heaven? References to Jesus 'sitting at God's right hand' seem to
suggest that they will, but it's a hard thing to understand.

You think that being separate entities is difficult to grasp, wait to you
hear this truth. We have the ability to be one and the same person, as well
as separate and unique individuals.

Of course there is this great big chair and white haired old man, so large

Even metaphorically, it denotes some seperation, sitting on the right
hand of a king denoted some favor, but the person was still
subservient. And in the Revelation (which is entirely metaphoric),
Jesus is said to return the rulership of the earth to the Father after
the Millinium.
Jesus is also called in scripture "only begotten" ("begot" meaning
"born") and "firstborn," indicating a beginning of His existance. --
specifically, that He was the first created being, and then
participated in the creation of all other things.
I don't buy the Jehovah's Witnesses contention that He was Michael,
but the Trinity Doctrine was borrowed from pagan religions who have
many trinities. God is described in Scripture as One and as "seven"
(seven being a metaphor for "infinite").

I think it depends on how you look at it. The metaphor is not there to
describe the specific relationship between the Father and the Son but
rather to describe the Son's role in relation to the Father. The
Son remains subservient to the Father even if the Son is equal to the
Father.
Jesus is also called in scripture "only begotten" ("begot" meaning
"born") and "firstborn," indicating a beginning of His existance. --
specifically, that He was the first created being, and then

You have to remember that there is the reality of the Son and then the
reality of Son as Jesus. The latter was a fusion of the eternal with
the created.

Possibly, but I think a clear progression is there from more primitive
trinities to the Catholic Trinity, adopted by Protestantism, and the
doctrine is still progressing.
I don't think whether one subscribes to a Oneness doctrine or a
Trinitarian doctrine is crucial to salvation anyway, if it were, I
believe it would be more obviously spelled out in Scripture. In the
Old Testament, there was obviously no such concept, but whether the NT
teaches a Trinity or Oneness is (obviously) debatable.
The one thing I have to go back to as a Mystic is what God told me, as
I debated various issues of doctrine with people back when I was on
"eGroups" (now Yahoo Groups). I just kept hearing God tell me that
there will not be a pop quiz on doctrine at the Judgment Seat - that
we will be judged just on what Jesus said, Did I feed the hungry, did
I visit the sick, did I cloth the naked?

Seeing them is not an issue. I have heard their voices and have seen
them. Well, I have seen Jesus, of the Father, I have only seen the
Throne where I was permitted a question and that He answered.
The first time I saw Jesus, I was praying before heading for a
Wednesday night service. Suddenly, there was a large group of people
obviously in difficulty, sick and so forth, and they were all blaming
God for their troubles, saying, "Why? Why?" Then Jesus appeared. He
was dressed as Arabs do today, with a blue headscarf, dark skin and
eyes that seemed like they could see right through me. He was
standing beside a large flat rock. Then he said, "Why? I have given
you the power and authority, why?" At that moment, I became aware but
did not see, that there were a large number of people behind me.
The Throne. I was in a prayer meeting when the leader suggested we
all pray quietly in a prostrate position, as we prayed, I looked up
and the Throne appeared in front of me, I knew more than saw that
someone was sitting on it and I stood up to face it. I was impressed
to ask a question. At the time it concerned me that the church was to
isolated and I asked, "How do we get what the church has out into the
world." At which point, I was literally pushed to my knees, and my
head was pushed to the floor between my knees - similar to the
description of how Elijah prayed for rain.
There have been other times, but that's sufficient for now.

Maybe, but I don't think it has changed all that much in the last thousand
years or so. There is not much that the Catholic Church or the Protestant

Nicean Creed and in the writings of Aquinas, Augustine, Abelard, Eckhert and

I think that is probably wiser words than many. So many of us have gotten
so worried about little points of belief that we forgot that the two
commandments that Jesus gave us were to Love God and to Love our brothers.
I think it ultimately comes down to the fact that how can we fulfill either
commandment without fulfilling both.

simple teachings of the guy who called himself 'the Son of man' and the

feat for an organization that, up until 1830, conducted public executions
of heretics and witches.

Do you expect Jesus and his father to exist as separate entities in
heaven? References to Jesus 'sitting at God's right hand' seem to
suggest that they will, but it's a hard thing to understand.
No, I don't expect them to be distinctly separate entities in heaven
because
of what Jesus said to the disciples. John 14:7 "If you had known Me, you
would have known my Father also; from now on you know Him and have seen
Him."
The operative words are "from now on".
In your bible, "to know" means "to have sex with", right?

There is no evidence to suggest that either exist at all. And that's easy
to understand.
