Jesus: New year, new hope |
For those of you who believe that there is life after death, it should
not be too difficult to consider that communication with that World
Beyond can be possible. In the Spiritist Centers in the Philippines,
the teachings are administered by our ascended brothers, the Holy
Spirits or the Spirits of Truth.
Here below are two typical spirit messages for your instruction. The
first is from St. Anthony de Padua and the second from Jesus utilizing
two different mediums on the assumption into office of a new set of
officers in one of our Lunduyans or Centers of Learning for the
incoming year.
But there are rules to be followed in the appreciation of any spirit
message. First and foremost - The Guiding Spirits are mandated by God
to inform, remind and suggest in pursuance of our studies. In
deference to our Free Will, every student is permitted to exercise his
own judgment in every instance. We are to analyze, test and question
any and all propositions. And we are to accept only what is reasonable
and logical based on our own personal experiences and to reject all
that are not.
Although the world changes not, nevertheless spirit moves onward

Feel the Father's love for you and let His peace reign in this World
of the Flesh now and forever!
Beloved students, praise God and be thankful to Him for all the
wonderful blessings and opportunities given to everyone. Give thanks
to God for sending you His Holy Spirits, your ascended brothers, to
guide you and assist you in your studies. Fortunate are you because
you are aware of your true spiritual needs. It is a credit to you that
you have come to our study session despite all the confusion, doubts
and apprehensions that you may be experiencing. You will be able to
resolve them all as you continue.
This fine morning, I would also want to greet the new leaders. God has
chosen you to serve your brothers and guide them towards their greater
understanding.
We are pleased with your idealism and zeal and your desire to give
comfort to the weary and suffering. Your determination and youthful
energy have rekindled hope in those who look to your center for
direction and those who are in need of your loving care. All your
efforts will eventually work towards the upliftment of your center and
your individual members.
My beloved brothers, do you desire for change? Although the world
changes not and neither do the situations in it, your lessons and
opportunities, nevertheless spirit moves onward to the perfection that
is its goal. You alone decide your own fate, where you want to go, and
what will be your future. You yourself must determine your course, the
things you must do, fully aware of your personal responsibility and
accountability for all your actions.
Stay on the Path. You will experience hardships and difficulties, pain
and suffering Take comfort in the realization that they are the means
whereby you may progress. And after the lessons, after you have
learned, then you will have relief from your burdens and gladness of
spirit.
For those who desire the easiest and fastest route to God, this is the
place to learn it. These teachings are given to you so you do not
wander far from the right path or get lost on your way. Here is where
everyone can learn more concerning the knowledge of heaven. This is
the same path that others before you, your now ascended brothers, have
trekked. Therefore, pursue your studies with patience and love. Be
focused rather on your true spiritual needs and not so much on the
needs and desires of your physical body. The things of the world, the
lusts of the flesh and your weakness of character will only delay your
progress and increase your burdens. Be resolute and unwavering. Your
Guides will be with you in all your struggles.
What should one strive for in your world? How can one come to realize
that earth life is only brief and temporary? While most others haven't
a clue, you here have found your answers and have continued to push
forward in your studies. So therefore you with your greater
understanding and knowledge have the greater obligation and duty to
help your brothers dispel the dark clouds that prevent them from
seeing the light of truth. Those who are ahead should help those who
are trailing behind. Help them to realize their faults and weaknesses
that prevent their enlightenment. And encourage them to take up a
deeper study of spiritual things in preparation for the real life to
come.
Beloved brothers, give thanks to God for the opportunities and the
learning afforded you. These are the very things that you will need to
help yourselves and your brothers who suffer and struggle with life's
trials and tribulations. The light that surrounds your center is
bright and brilliant. It inspires hope in the future. Although your
elders may have their reservations in regard to the new direction set
by your newly installed leadership, trust in God and in your guides to
help you triumph over all. Trust also in the abilities of the young
and give them your support so that all of you together may benefit the
more from your studies in this school of the Spirits.
Before I leave, allow me to remind you to keep vigilant. Do not allow
your trials and lessons to wear you down. Strive to overcome. Dispel
the darkness and gloom. Open your minds and be receptive. More
blessings and deeper teachings are coming your way.
Let there be peace, peace and peace, yet again. This is what your
world needs. Peace to all.

Blessings and peace to you from the Father.
A new year, a new hope. This is the gist of our recent communications.
If your worries and concerns have eased somewhat, this is the result
of the series of innovations taking place in your center. Faced with
unexpected changes in his surroundings, every man evaluates the
effects and determines whether they are for the better or for worse.
This constant reevaluation enables him to avoid the thorns and
stumbling blocks in his path and get past his trials and difficult
lessons.
Your future can be bright and promising. You have reason to hope.
Forget the mistakes and failings of the past. Learn from them but look
to the future. Realize your faults and weaknesses. Work at
strengthening and refining your character. Exchange your dirty linen
and put on new, clean white clothing. Leave the darkness behind and
advance to the Light. We offer you a better tomorrow and a more
pleasant learning environment. Assume your new duties that will
conform to your changed situation.
Welcome change because it brings progress. Every creature, man or
beast, and even inanimate objects, undergoes change and development.
Everyone and everything evolves.
So do the teachings of Spiritism also face an imminent upgrading. It
is time. In your archipelago, the students have wandered listlessly
and wavered, as if lost in sleep, eyes closed not ready to wake up and
not wanting to be bothered. Deep in slumber, they don't hear our wake-
up call, our knock at the door of their heart. Dismissive, they
continue in their errors. But this situation should not continue. So
we have taken steps to turn things around. Hence the changes in your
center.
I know that you are concerned and apprehensive. But everything will
work for good. You must look far forward. Strive to see the big
picture. Widen your understanding. Much time has passed. Countless
opportunities have been given to you to effect progress and
improvements. But you have failed to take advantage of them. And now,
your time is past. Now, a new set of leaders has been delegated the
greater authority and responsibility to manage and operate your
school.
My brothers, your school has been chosen for a special purpose. Your
school will grow and its influence will spread. There will many new
and advanced concepts and teachings, never before administered, that
will be introduced here. The lessons to be taken up here will be
deeper and more comprehensive than any other spiritual studies
available anywhere else. They will comprise "all of the Truth" because
precisely, they come not from any man, even the wisest among you, they
come direct from the Father.
Many of you have grown impatient and doubtful concerning our repeated
predictions because you have waited for so long and they have not come
true. But you should know that we are not the cause of the delay. It
is you who are delaying your progression - because of your
unpreparedness and your refusal to move forward.
Before more complex and advanced teachings can be administered to you,
first you must be grounded in the basics. Once you have mastered the
elementary levels, then the next higher level of instruction may be
begun, not before. So be more attuned to us and be receptive to the
new teachings of the Spirits. Prepare for a general upgrading in the
level of instruction in your school.
I can sense your disbelief and criticisms regarding this message. But
this is normal and part of your studies. Open your hearts and minds.
Replace all things negative with more positive influences. Everything
is a lesson and a test. Some of you lean to a wait and see attitude.
But I tell you that these things will not come to pass unless you
yourself take action - unless you make them happen.
Your new officers should take the lead. But all the members should
also participate and help out, because success can come to you all
only if you act together. Your coordinated and joint efforts will
ensure your accession to holiness and your mastery of the science of
Spiritism. This is what you should strive for in the coming periods.
