John Paul |
In his last will, John Paul makes repeated references to divine
providence, which he thanked for saving him from a 1981 assassination
attempt.
Was that the same divine providence that allowed him to get shot in the
first place?

Apparently the guy who shot him was wanting to go to the funeral and
claimed he should be able to as if the Pope living was part of the
divine plan, then shooting him was also
