Can my dog be official mascot? She will turn 6 years old on 6-6-06 and her

occasion call her the 'demon dog' in honor of those sixes.

1. I'm not obsessed with it. Robinkof claims she enjoys cemeteries. Something
must turn her on.
2. We're all going to die soon. And you might go before me. Are you ready?
3. I'm hoping for life after death as promised by Jesus. You've already ruled
it out and professed that what you have now is as good as it gets.

Something must turn her on.
You constantly talk about it. "It's your grave" or something similar.
2. We're all going to die soon. And you might go before me. Are you
ready?
Sure. As long as it's painless.
3. I'm hoping for life after death as promised by Jesus. You've
already ruled it out and professed that what you have now is as good as

Just because you hope for something doesn't make your real. I "hope" after
death, I get 1000 virgins and a lollypop tree. I doubt it will happen, but
it sure would be cool.

Heh. Yeah, well - you're certainly doing that.
If only you knew how much.
But seriously, what are you doing here?
I personally don't feel any desire to lurk about in Christian
newsgroups. I couldn't, in fact, give a rat's arse what they talk about.
Their delusions are their problem. But you... what *are* you doing here,
I wonder?
Are you having a "crisis of faith" perhaps? Is that it? Are those doubts
that lurk in the back of your mind disturbing you? Those dark and
troubling thoughts that just won't go away, no matter how much you pray?
Are you looking at the news on TV, and seeing all those devout,
committed Muslims blowing themselves up in the name of Allah, and
wondering what the difference is - between your faith and theirs?
Maybe you caught some of that old Vietnam-era footage of the Buddhist
monk, calmly sitting down in the street and setting fire to himself -
and wondered - 'How can somebody be so devout in their beliefs, and yet
be *so* wrong?'
Are these the things causing you to reflect on your own faith, and to
wonder if perhaps your beliefs are wrong as well?
Well, don't worry. You've come to the right place.
By all means, keep up the smarmy "Jesus is Lord" comments if it makes
you feel better. The rest of us here are long since immune to that sort
of nonsense, and it's only likely to result in a few sly grins and a bit
of eyerolling anyway.
So stick around, and when you're ready to face reality, we'll be here to
help. Okay?
Good luck, and don't be too disturbed by those doubts. It's just a sign
that you're recovering, and the end of your doubt-filled, guilt ridden,
self-loathing nightmare is nigh.

Heh. Yeah, well - you're certainly doing that.
If only you knew how much.
Glad to be of help.
But seriously, what are you doing here?
I told you - to help you learn the truth.
I personally don't feel any desire to lurk about in Christian
newsgroups. I couldn't, in fact, give a rat's arse what they talk about.
Their delusions are their problem. But you... what *are* you doing here,
I wonder?
The Christian: win/no win. The atheist: lose/no win. No win comes into play
if there is no almighty God.
Now who's delusional?
Are you having a "crisis of faith" perhaps? Is that it? Are those doubts
that lurk in the back of your mind disturbing you? Those dark and
troubling thoughts that just won't go away, no matter how much you pray?
Nope, not a chance.
Are you looking at the news on TV, and seeing all those devout,
committed Muslims blowing themselves up in the name of Allah, and
wondering what the difference is - between your faith and theirs?
My God pushes love of man for one another. Their idea of the same God is to
kill for him. I believe I'm right.
Maybe you caught some of that old Vietnam-era footage of the Buddhist
monk, calmly sitting down in the street and setting fire to himself -
and wondered - 'How can somebody be so devout in their beliefs, and yet
be *so* wrong?'
Question - how do you KNOW he was wrong? He did more than the average atheist.
He willing gave his own life for his beliefs. You atheists laugh at him.
Are these the things causing you to reflect on your own faith, and to
wonder if perhaps your beliefs are wrong as well?
Nope.
Thanks, I do so enjoy trying to help you atheists.
So stick around, and when you're ready to face reality, we'll be here to
help. Okay?
My pleasure.
Good luck, and don't be too disturbed by those doubts. It's just a sign
that you're recovering, and the end of your doubt-filled, guilt ridden,
self-loathing nightmare is nigh.
My doubts are over. I gave them up over 20 years ago.

Yup. I'm sure you are.
But seriously, what are you doing here?
I told you - to help you learn the truth.
And you honestly think that sprouting a few Sunday school homilies in an
atheist newsgroup is likely to cause someone to convert, do you?
No. I think you're a wannabe martyr. You fancy yourself as a "Lion among
the Jackals" - bravely taking The Good Fight into the heart of enemy
territory. That's what your presence here is about, isn't it? Nevermind
the fact that you achieve absolutely nothing by being here. This is all
about you bolstering your flimsy doubt-ridden faith, so you can pat
yourself on the back and imagine that you're fighting The Good Fight.
You're aware that this sort of smug self-satisfied pride is a sin in
your Church, aren't you? So don't forget to mention this to your
confessor next time you're in the box - if you can prise his ***** out of
the altar boy for long enough to hear your confession.
I personally don't feel any desire to lurk about in Christian

Ahhh, good ol' Pascal rears his ugly head. You've read the FAQ. You
don't need it explained to you again.
Now who's delusional?
People who believe in non-existent deities are.
Are you having a "crisis of faith" perhaps? Is that it? Are those doubts
that lurk in the back of your mind disturbing you? Those dark and
troubling thoughts that just won't go away, no matter how much you pray?
Nope, not a chance.
I see. And the similarities between this, and the convictions of Muslim
extremists gives you no food for thought? - That they also believe, with
absolute certainty, that theirs is the One True Faith? - That they're
willing to die for this faith? - That they would also say: "Nope, not a
chance."? You can't see the slightest hint of a problem here?
Are you looking at the news on TV, and seeing all those devout,
committed Muslims blowing themselves up in the name of Allah, and
wondering what the difference is - between your faith and theirs?
My God pushes love of man for one another.
So does theirs. They believe that they're expressing that love by
ridding the world of infidels. Just like the old Catholic Church used to
"save" heretics by burning them. All in the name of Love.
Their idea of the same God is to kill for him.
So did yours - Until the rise of secular societies in the West started
holding your lot in check. If the Church had it's way, you'd still be
burning witches and stoning people to death, like your comrades-in-faith
the Islamists.
I believe I'm right.
I know you do. That's the problem. So do the Islamists.
I made no such claim. The point here is that YOU think he's wrong. Your
faith is incompatible with Buddhism, is it not? So how do you reconcile
the fact that he's wrong with his obvious devotion to his faith?
He did more than the average atheist.
He willing gave his own life for his beliefs. You atheists laugh at him.
I assure you I do not laugh at him. I see him as an unfortunate example
of how the human mind can believe something to the point of
self-destruction, while at the same time being blind to the paradox
created by other faiths.
You're human. You have a belief. You know with absolute certainty that
you're right. And yet, Buddhists burn themselves because they do too.
What does this tell you?
Are these the things causing you to reflect on your own faith, and to
wonder if perhaps your beliefs are wrong as well?
Nope.
Then you're in that dangerous territory that gives rise to suicide
bombers and self-immolating monks, not to mention wars, ethnic
cleansing, crusades and witch burnings. In a word, evil.
Well, don't worry. You've come to the right place.
By all means, keep up the smarmy "Jesus is Lord" comments if it makes

No, that'd be the warm glow of smug self-righteousness that you're
enjoying. Let us know how many Hail Marys you cop for that, won't you.
So stick around, and when you're ready to face reality, we'll be here to
help. Okay?
My pleasure.
It will be, if you ever manage to throw off your superstitions.
Good luck, and don't be too disturbed by those doubts. It's just a sign
that you're recovering, and the end of your doubt-filled, guilt ridden,
self-loathing nightmare is nigh.
My doubts are over. I gave them up over 20 years ago.
Yep. True evil.
