Junk DNA and Evolution: Why Creationists are in a Fugu |
Creationists are so desperately paralyzed by junk DNA that they deny it
out of hand, claiming that we don't know what that "supposed" junk is,
and it likely has a designed function that we just haven'f figured out
yet.
Well, no, it's junk, and here's why: the puffer fish has the same
number of genes (give or take a few) that we do, but it contains them
in a genome roughly *ONE TENTH* the size of ours;

The rest is junk.
The article at Pharyngula also discusses yet more evidence for
(so-called) macroevolution.

So now junk DNA is the proof, ey? If you want to see the connection, you will,
religious freak. There's no scientific evidence in it though, watching it being used
for creating new spieces for billions of years would be the proof, but I guess you'll
just have to have your little brain connect the dots, as if it that's science. Lol.
