Kansas: GOP incumbents face primary challenges for Board of Education seats |
From the article:
---------------------------
Martin said evolution and creationism are two theories of the Earth's origin that
should be taught in science classrooms to give students a better perspective of all
schools of thought. She said she doesn't understand why the media pays so much
attention to the issue or why moderates are clinging to their position against
creationism.
"There's some good scientifically based theories. None should be taught as fact,"
Martin said. "Let the students study and form their own opinions."

To be fair, perhaps we should also propose supernatural alternatives
for gravity, relativity and quantum mechanics... and "Let the students
study and form their own opinions" on these too. We could introduce
"science" degrees in necromancy, alchemy, astrology and applied
creationism... do away with that useless tool, the scientific method
and just take a vote of the majority "opinion" to determine the
veracity of a scientific theories. Oh, and burn any science textbooks
we don't like. Ahhh, yes, it'll be just like the good old days...
onwards and upwards, to the 15th century!!

These are people who bought into Trickle Down Theory and have a 7
Trillion dollar debt (no one ever talks about) hanging over their
heads as a result. No science is going to save them from what's
coming. If you had screwed countless generations out of their future,
so American Business interests could move their facilities safely out
of the country and leave your children holding the bag, then you
wouldn't want to educate them to know just how hopeless their future
really is. These are people that need the Advent or an extinction
event to balance their accounts.

Why stop with science? Supernatural explanations for language, history
and mathematics should be allowed to compete with "traditional"
scholarship in the marketplace of ideas!
* ENGL 101 - Ancient Babelic Prose
English literature from its invention at the Tower of Babel
* HIST 235 - Beyond the Rim
The study of famous explorers that fell to their doom off the

Exercise and nutrition, the Zoroastrian way!

Why waste time with all of those silly subjects. Just have the kids
read the Bible for eight hours a day. Everything that you need to know
is supposed to be in there - at least according to the fundy preachers.

new facts is the sign of the rational and intelligent. The inability to do
so is the hallmark of the dimwitted and the fanatic. This applies not only
to science and philosophy, but also to politics.-
