Katrina response anti-secular |
Hi all,
They accounced this morning on NPR that the list
of aid organizations being allowed to help Katrina
victims was limited almost entirely to religious
organizations (20 out of 22), and even left out
the most successful Xian organizations. Oh, but of
course it did include a Pat Robertson group, oddly
enough, despite that lowlife being a bigot. It
just goes to show how extremist the Bush agenda is.
Meanwhile let's not forget that the people hit
the hardest -- poor whites and poor blacks -- are
usually Democrats, and that Orleans county voted
77% for Kerry. Maybe that had something to do with
the federal government withholding funds to fix the
levies before Katrina and their failure to help
during and after. Or the police and state for
that matter.

How come those jesus-mongers couldn't simply pray away the hurricane?

Indeed. AWOL Bush isn't the president of all America, just big business and
their groupie sharecropper apologists.
