Kenneth Pangborn BANNED OF GOOGLE GROUPS!! |
Ken Pangborn has a history of harassing other people, and is well
known for his penchant for starting flamewars, even ranging back to
the days of FidoNET. Anyone who has a difference of opinion with
Pangborn runs the risk of being attacked. This can take on many
forms, ranging from a few words of profanity and vulgarity to
libelous, defamatory lies being posted on the internet. He also uses
anonymous remailers to forge racist posts to others on the internet,
in an attempt to disparage them. In extreme cases, Ken may resort to
offline harassment of yourself, family members, friends, and
employers.In addition, Ken has various "sock puppets" who can often be
found repeating his agenda. Typically, these are people who follow
Ken because they don't know any bette/en trips over himself on various
lies
Often, Ken Pangborn makes the mistake of lying about things which are
easily proved false. This is usually because of complete ignorance on
Ken's part regarding whatever subject he is speaking about.
Here are a few of the "classic" lies:
EFF lie. Ken claims affiliation with an online free speech group in
1980. Unfortunately, as evidenced on the group's own website, the EFF
did not even exist in any form until 1990--ten years later.
RFC 822 lie. Ken claims to be able to track AOL users by their so-
called "account number"....RFC 822. Of course, anyone familiar with
the technical aspects of the internet (which obviously excludes Ken)
is well aware that RFC 822 is an internet standard, not an "account
number".
