OK...but it's still not why she's in jail.
The underlying cause is drunk driving. The proximate cause is that
she refuses to be treated the same as any other drunk driver.

Terrible way to treat the other inmates though. They will all deserve
some remission off their sentences just for having her as a fellow
inmate. Bacca wasn't thinking of the welfare of Paris when he let her
out. He was thinking of the welfare of the other inmates.
Maybe jail is the wrong place if this is where adults are kept. She
should be in juvenile detention given her childish immaturity.
