Lalla and Richard in Birmingham (UK) |
I went to see them last night. It is, of course, a promotional book
tour and consisted of readings from the book by both Lalla and Richard.
I also managed to get a signed copy of "The God Delusion".
No real surprises. Lalla Ward, by far the prettiest of the Dr Who
companions IMO, is even more attractive in her mature years. It was
evident that we were in the company of a very special intellect when
Professor Dawkins spoke, which he did with passion and authority.
As is the nature of these things, he was preaching to the converted, so
no surprises when the question and answer session came around.
All in all a very stimulating 90 minutes.

I always have preferred Louise Jameson...and not just because of her
outfits. Lalla looked too much like a child most of the time.

They both stimulated you......you _did_ manage some privacy for this,
didn't you? Heh.

Me too, but I think the outfits might have had something to do with it :P

Maybe it's the photo, but she still looks awfully young.....it must be

Didn't you hear? Her and Dawks both sold their souls to Satan. It's all part
of the Evil Atheist Conspiracy, dontcha know. She got eternal youth; Dawks
got a fantastic combination bike-lock and DNA sequencer...
BTW, did you ever hear about the dyslexic devil-worshipper who sold his soul
to Santa...?

Bike-lock?
That was not in the brochure when I signed up!
Damnit. I want my soul back.
Where is the complaints department?

Yes.
