Lead us not unto temptation |
In the genisis story of the Judeo Cristian bible their god temps Adam
and Eve with a fruit that will turn them into gods. They were like innocent
childen and their god had to know they woud eat the fruit but he punished
them any way. So it seem he was playing with them thier minds and it was not
fair.
Now NBC news and some police are tempting men on the innernet and TV
with young girls who are realy adults and they know they will go after the
girls. Now they will punish the men. Is it fair? Just like how the god did
Adam and Eve.

predators. I'd support the police in their quest before supporting the god.

predators. I'd support the police in their quest before supporting the
god.
Can you or the NBC police know for sure that the guys would have been
predators if they have not been lured? Money and sex might be irresistible
sometimes and the allure can change people.

There are some pretty strict protocols that the police have to follow to
avoid charges of entrapment. While they can present themselves as
underage girls looking for older men they cannot be the ones to initiate
the contact with the intent to actively seduce their victim. It's no
different than the protocols for catching men soliciting a police
"hooker" on a street corner or a drug sting.

They prove themselves to be predators when they take the bait. Would you
prefer they succumb to the allure of a real child, and most likely get away
with it?

The two things are totally different for a couple of reasons. Firstly, one
story isn't true, secondly, only the non-innocent fell for the real trap.
