Truth is dead.
Someone will call it slanted no matter where you get it.

FWIW, I won't call it the least biased, but the following blog has been
extremely informative, IMHO.

Right here. Biased only by experience. US forces will take and clean
out Fallujah with some losses, and three months from now, there will
be the same level of US casualties in Fallujah as there were a week or
so ago. Assuming there's any Fallujah left. If no Fallujah, this
will fall into the famous category of "We had to destroy the villiage
to save it."
And four years from now, all other things being equal, the news from
Fallujah will be exactly the same, unless it's worse.

As copmpared to Fox, or even CBS, they've generally made at least some
attempt to show the other side of things, and the coverage has struck me
as a bit more thorough. Alternately, I suppose you could take your news
from the far right Fox and whatever's left of the far left Pacifica at
once, and try to sort out which side is telling the most lies and
spewing the most hysteria on which issues, which is what I do every now
and then. He was asking for least slanted. Absence of slant is
absolutely unobtainable.

The BBC and pacifica seem to be good
Google News tends to return a lot of hits and you can pick and choose.
Here's a quote for one of the sources that is interesting:
With the main battle in Fallujah in its 48th hour when Metz spoke to
reporters, the three-star refused to say how many casualties, either enemy
or coalition, have died so far in "al Jabar," or "New Dawn" in Arabic.
"Friendly casualties are light," Metz said. "I am pleased by that."
Pressed by reporters for more detail, Metz said, "You can count our
casualties in certainly a dozen [but] I would not want to characterize it
beyond that. I would like to keep it at a figure that is low, and not state
it . because things may go up and fluctuate over time . ."
He wants to keep it at a figure that is low...

going on in Fallujah?

They're not that unbiased.
For example they describe those who are fighting against the
occupation that doesn't care how many civilians it slaughters as
"insurgents", "rebels" etc. Loaded language that makes it appear as
though the occupation forces have the moral high ground.
When they're doing nothing we wouldn't do if eg the soviets were
occupying us.
The correct word is "resistance". Because that is what it is. But they
won't use that because it would give the game away.
Insurgent, rebel etc makes it appear as though they are fighting
legitimate authority.

# noun: a person who takes part in an armed rebellion against the
constituted authority (especially in the hope of improving conditions)
# noun: a member of an irregular armed force that fights a stronger
force by sabotage and harassment
# adjective: in opposition to a civil authority or government
Oh, I don't know. As I recall, the Bush administration struggled for
some months against the use of "insurgent", apparently because they
wanted the US population to think that all of the counter-US violence
was from "outside terrorists".

I would go to the Guardian for a blanced view, and Al-Jazeera for a
mostly balanced view, despite all the ***** about how one-sided they
are. I mean, all Iraqis aren't "insurgents," right? I wouldn't consider
the BBC or any commerical American news source to be reliable--the bias
is pretty obvious and appalling. Real Goebbals-like "good guys vs bad
guys" crap in a more effective and convincing format.
Might I suggest you read up on some of the sites on propaganda analysis
and judge for yourself.

You really have only one choice...go there!!!!
Seriously. You probably won't get it from an American source, or any
of her allies, or those opposed to American actions. You probably
won't get it from an arab or muslim source, or any opposed to them.
Slant or bias is so subjective as well.
IOW. Does the moon have a news source?
