A woman recently wrote saying she has never been harassed by a
homosexual, but she has been harassed by Christians at her front door.
Why would those Christians go to her front door? It can't be that they
have nothing better to do in this busy world of ours. It can't be that
they like that occasional door being slammed in their faces. Maybe
it's because they took Jesus Christ seriously when He said the gate
into heaven is narrow and only a few find it (Matthew 7:13 to 14).
Maybe they took Jesus Christ seriously when He said He was the only
way to heaven (John 14:6). Maybe they took Jesus Christ seriously when
He said, " ... go and make disciples of all nations.. ." (Matthew
28:19).
Muslims who take their religion seriously try to kill themselves and
everyone else.
Christians who take their religion seriously try to tell even
strangers about the love, the hope and the forgiveness they have found
by faith in Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection for
our sins.
It takes a lot of love and a lot of courage in a person's heart to
knock on a strangers door and offer them that good news. Why don't you
try knocking on a strangers door and tell them what you believe? Why?
Because you don't consider what you believe worth the sacrifice. Some
Christians do!
If Christians could get their message out, the world would be a better
place. People would love their neighbors as they love themselves.
People would do to other what they would want others to do to them.
The streets would be safe once again for women to walk on and children
to play on. Things would be getting better not worse. Some day those
who felt harassed by Christians at their front door will wish they had
listened.
Speaking of being harassed at your front door, in Genesis 19, Lot and
his family were harassed by a whole city full of homosexuals at their
front door wanting to rape their house guests. I pray that things
never get that bad here in America, but we're quickly heading that
direction. Those of you who don't like Christians knocking on your
door or writing letters to the editor, those of you who are "troubled"
by freedom of the press, freedom of speech and freedom of religion can
always move to North Korea or Iran or anywhere else on planet earth
where you will not find the same freedoms we enjoy here in America.
Freedom is a wonderful thing. You're free to defend homosexuality, and
we're free to call it a "sin." You're free to watch a movie, and we're
free to boycott it.
If there really are any Christians still out there going door to door,
I say, "God bless you! You're among those patriots who more than self
their country loved, and mercy more than life! Keep up the good work!"

A woman recently wrote saying she has never been harassed by a
homosexual, but she has been harassed by Christians at her front door.
Why would those Christians go to her front door? It can't be that they
have nothing better to do in this busy world of ours. It can't be that
they like that occasional door being slammed in their faces. Maybe
it's because they took Jesus Christ seriously when He said the gate
into heaven is narrow and only a few find it (Matthew 7:13 to 14).
Maybe they took Jesus Christ seriously when He said He was the only
way to heaven (John 14:6). Maybe they took Jesus Christ seriously when
He said, " ... go and make disciples of all nations.. ." (Matthew
28:19).
Maybe the author of this letter is a brain dead zombie incapable of
putting himself in the shoes of those who neither want nor need his
religion shoved down their throats.
Does he seriously imagine his excuses for his behaviour are going to
mean anything to anybody outside his religion?

And perhaps he also needs to learn a little bit more about the other
religions he is badmouthing.
