Would you perhaps consider putting an "OT" in your subject if you
include alt.atheism in your list of newasgroups? It will help a lot of us
wade through non-relevant subjects.
I'd hate to have to killfile you like I did to maff.

Then you've to killfile majority of the atheists' posts in
alt.atheism. Majority of the atheists don't support Bush's insane
policies.

I'm an atheist, reading in alt.atheism. I'm interested, so that makes
it on-topic. Your post, otoh, is off-topic. So is this one.

And how exactly is sales of books related to atheism Al?
I don't particularly like complaining, but lately, the things that are
being posted -- specifically related to politics -- are really not related
to atheism qua atheism: We have maff, posting links of URLs, Patriotboy
posting hoardes of political crap, Kansan posting his Klumology *****,
and so on.
Anyways, I've killfiled Patriotboy. That'll fix the problem.

Ah... You're from alt.atheism I presume... I'll try to remove groups like
alt.atheism from political posts when I see it there. Some people
obviously add NGs at random just to expand their reading audience I guess.

And some of us in alt.atheism discuss politics. The purpose of
alt.atheism isn't to discuss atheism, it's to discuss things of
interest to atheists. Politics happens to be one of those things.
Obviously, though, Mr_Blonde won't be seeing this.

It's not. Read the charter. The fact that an atheist posted
something in alt.atheism that I, another atheist, finds of interest
makes it on-topic by definition.
I don't particularly like complaining, but lately, the things that are
being posted -- specifically related to politics -- are really not related
to atheism qua atheism
Which has nothing to do with what's on-topic in alt.atheism.
We have maff, posting links of URLs, Patriotboy

I don't read Maff any longer, I've never read Kansan, but I find some
of the articles that PatriotBoy posts interesting.
Anyways, I've killfiled Patriotboy. That'll fix the problem.
Until the next person posts something you don't find of interest.
BTW, this thread is now on-topic.

It's always been for atheists to discuss any subject of interest to
atheists. You thought it was for something else?
