Liberal BBC: No Calling Saddam a 'Dictator'
According to Britain's Sun newspaper, the BBC has sent an e-mail
forbidding it's correspondents and writers from referring to Saddam
Hussein as a "former dictator." Rather, the stoic and obviously
PC-crazed institution is requiring the use of "the deposed former
President" when writing or speaking about the Tyrant
from Tikrit.
British parlimentarians are saying that this clearly shows the BBC's
left-wing bias, and anti-war sentiments.
Labour MP Kevan Jones, of the Commons Defence Select Committee, told
the Sun: "This shows the crass naivety of the BBC. Such political
correctness will be deeply hurtful to many of our servicemen serving
in Iraq.
"It amply demonstrates elements of the BBC have got a clearly anti-war
and anti-Government agenda."
Labour MP Ann Clwyd - who is the chair of the Indict group, which has
collected files upon files on the crimes of Hussein, his sons Uday and
Qusay, and their various accomplices - said: "It's frankly ridiculous.
Saddam Hussein is a despot, a murderer and a torturer. He will have to
answer charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide."
A BBC statement said the e-mail was only to "remind journalists to use
neutral language."
Riiiiight.
One BBC insider said it best: "This is our daftest order ever."
Indeed.
In a related story, the former dictator, mass murderer, despot,
terrorist, and sadistic souzerain - or to the BBC, current hospital
patient - Saddam Hussein has been on an IV drip since his capture, due
to dehydration.

Left-wing liberals are EVERYTHING they accuse the right of being. They
are mean, vicious, hateful, greedy, cold-hearted, closed-minded,
selfish, intolerant, bigoted and racist.
