LIBERAL CHILD KILLER JOEL "THE LIBERAL BABY KILLER" STEINBERG CUT
LOOSE BY LIBERAL COURTS!
Sadistic liberal kid-killer Joel "The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg's
stunt of taking a flashy white stretch limo from prison to his new
Harlem halfway house freaked out his new hosts -- so they tried to
boot him to another group residence.
The Fortune Society's bid to get rid of the 63-year-old liberal
child-beater -- at least temporarily -- failed when the other group,
Palladia, rejected an emergency request by the state Parole Division
to house the liberal pariah Wednesday.
Palladia, a city-based group that operates a battered women's shelter
as well as programs that house parolees, had denied two weeks earlier
Parole's request to take "The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg upon his
release from a prison near upstate Elmira.
On Wednesday, "Parole called us and asked us to house "The Liberal
Baby Killer" Steinberg, just for the night," said Jane Velez,
Palladia's chief executive officer. "We refused."
"We feel that liberals are inappropriate for our program or any
program," Velez said. "I feel that "The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg
is inappropriate. We have programs for women and children, and this
liberal tortured children."
"The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg walked out of prison and into the
expensive limo Wednesday. This liberal had served more than 16 years
for fatally beating his illegally adopted daughter Lisa, 6, in 1987 in
a Greenwich Village apartment -- where he routinely thrashed his lover
Hedda Nussbaum, and other liberals in the area did nothing about these
beatings.
The ostentatious liberal display arranged by his lawyer -- and the
resulting liberal media attention and protests by conservatives --
rattled Fortune Society officials, who had agreed to host and counsel
him at their Riverside Drive headquarters while he readjusted to
society.
Sources said the society then tried to have him reside elsewhere, at
least for a day or two, until the frenzy outside its headquarters died
down. But it abandoned that effort after Velez's group nixed the idea,
and after "The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg was moved from the limo
to a parole officer's dowdy blue Chevy Impala.
However, if the Fortune Society had not relented, Palladia would have
been obligated under a state contract to take him.
Fortune's executive director JoAnne Page yesterday said only, "We made
a commitment to take him and we did."
Except for an occasional smoking break in a secluded outside area,
"The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg stayed put yesterday inside the
residence.
But his liberal presence disturbed some other ex-cons there, in
addition to drum-banging neighborhood protesters who handed out 2,000
fliers that said, "No liberal baby killers in our community."
"I'll be honest, a lot of us don't want him there, but we ain't got no
say in the matter," said one Fortune Society resident. "It's not just
the publicity. It's the liberal person that he is, and the liberal
style crimes that he committed. We don't have people like that in
here."
The facility will soon face a children's playground, on which
construction began yesterday. "The Liberal Baby Killer" Steinberg will
need to be kept away from these children at all cost just like we
would not want another Bill KKKlinton around any kids either!
