No, when "confronted with Christ" I think of love, salvation, family, all
that good stuff. When confronted by someone who wants to let the President
choose candidates for President (?) and supposedly other offices based on
their political affiliation, I think one of two things - either your a
goofball pulling our collective legs, or you're a genuine wack job who
really believes what you're saying.
If the former, no harm, no foul. Not sure what point you're trying to make.
Maybe that will reveal itself eventually - maybe not.
If the latter, it would in fact require acts of Treason to implement what
you suggest, unless we're talking a major overhaul of the U.S. Constitution
through the usual process of Amendment - which ain't gonna happen.

Something similar is needed in the States. democRATs should not be allowed to
run for office without approval from the Church in order to keep our country
holy.
The Constitution of the United States, Article VI Clause 3:
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of
the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial
Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall
be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no
religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office
or public Trust under the United States."
The First Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
Which makes your proposal fundamentally un-American in the extreme.
Our founders foresaw idiots like you, and made sure that you peddlers
of myth can't take over the nation.

Now you are completely distorting what I am saying - which you clearly find
necessary to make your argument. I am simply making the modest proposal that
Church leaders should decide who should be able to run for office. I am not
proposing that there be any religious test. The leaders may even allow a few
people of other faiths to run.
How could any true American not believe we need to protect our country from
heathens and atheists? The Constitution is not a suicide pact! In God we
trust.
