First of all, Mr. Jacobs lives in Japan. Now he may be an American, and
he may someday return to America, but he sure does enjoy living and
working in Japan. (Actually, I would too...). But he also wants people
to *know* he's living and working in Japan. So, Mr. Jacobs, if you are
living and working in Japan, why don't you stick to Japanese
discussions for a while?
He also wants you to know that he has 4, count 'em, 4 degrees. And that
his job is like being in Graduate School.
So, we have the Scholarly Shannon Jacobs, constantly posting on the
Internet.
So, when does Mr. Jacobs sleep?
But, the more important question is, when does he *work*?
He seems to post all hours of the day or night.
Now, since he is ahead of EST by 13 hours, that means he is working
while we are sleeping. But he posts when he is working. Wait, he posts
when he is sleeping. Hmmmm..
Not only that, what *does* Mr. Jacobs do for work? It gets even more
interesting...

Yes, good old Mr. Jacobs works on SETI. The Search for Extra
Terrestrial Intelligence.
One could make the joke that he can't find it here so he has to look
elsewhere.
Or, one could draw the inference, from the number of and tone of
references on the Google search, that no one *here* *wants* to deal
with him, so he is looking for another race to slander, call idiiots,
and in
general alienate himself from (no pun intended)
I had a feeling, from the tone and topic of his posts, he was a
self-serving egghead, but now I know the truth...
He's just an Educated Fool. (Either that or she writes children's
books...)
