Liberalism Is A Real Mental Disorder. ==> God Bless President Reagan |
God Bless President Reagan
Okay Liberals, let the viscious hatred flow.... Let's see that
tolerance, lets see that compassion!
Celebrations Mark Reagan's 93rd birthday
Ronald Reagan's 93rd birthday was marked by celebrations in his
hometown of Tampico, Ill., in Los Angeles, and in his bedroom with his
wife and daughter.
In Tampico, just as it has for about 20 years, the celebration took
place in the Ronald Reagan Birthplace and Museum, which officially
opened in 1982, during Reagan's second year in the White House.
Reagan was born a few minutes before 6 a.m. in an apartment above a
bakery on Main Street in Tampico. According to Sauk Valley Newspapers,
his parents, Jack and Nelle Reagan, had lived in the 1,700-square-foot
apartment since 1906. Both Ronald Reagan and his 3-years-older brother,
Neil, would live in
Tampico off and on for the next nine years.
The two buildings that house Reagan's birthplace and museum were owned
by Paul and Helen Nicely, who started to restore the buildings in 1976,
when Reagan missed being nominated to run for president against Jimmy
Carter. It opened as a tourist attraction in 1981.
About 150 people were expected to attend the all-day open house today,
including the fourth-grade class from Tampico Grade School.
Reagan last visited Tampico on Mother's Day, May 10, 1992.
He and Nancy went to services at the Tampico Church of Christ, to which
Reagan's mother, Nelle, belonged. Jack Reagan, his shoe-salesman
father, and brother Neil attended St. Mary's, the local Catholic
church.
In Los Angeles, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger issued a proclamation, and
the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a
motion Tuesday dedicating the day to Reagan, according to KABC.
The proclamation says Reagan "unleashed the entrepreneurial spirit of
the nation by removing barriers to business expansion and job creation,
and restoring accountability and common sense to government."
Michael Reagan, Reagan's older son, accepted the Board of Supervisors'
proclamation on his father's behalf.
During another celebration at the Reagan Presidential Library in
Southern California, Nancy Reagan dedicated the cornerstone of a
pavilion where the Air Force One plane used by Reagan and several of
his predecessors will be housed.
At his home in Bel Aire, Reagan's daughter Patti and his wife, Nancy,
planned a quiet celebration that Patti said would mark her father's
93rd birthday.
Writing in Newsweek, she said: "The ache of a day like this is its
ordinariness. My father will sleep for many hours as he usually does.
He will wake up for dinner and we will be with him; there will be a
cake, and people will have sent flowers, so his room will feel festive,
but it's doubtful that he will notice. My mother and I will tell him,
Happy Birthday. And, silently, we will wonder who we're saying it
for. We are marking another year of life, but not of living; no one can
look at an Alzheimer's patient without mourning the loss of a fully
alive life."
What Nancy Reagan called the "long goodbye" painfully continues.

Left-wing liberals are EVERYTHING they accuse the right of being. They
are mean, vicious, hateful, greedy, cold-hearted, closed-minded,
selfish, intolerant, bigoted and racist.

Reagan died a year ago, troll. And here was my reaction to his death.

I served under Reagan, and although I disagreed with him on many
positions, he was my President and Commander-in-Chief.
